It's important to highlight that endometriosis is NOT the endometrium. It has been clinically proven that, although similar, endometriosis implants are pathologically different to the lining of the uterus (the endometrium). Correctly defining endometriosis is essential in busting taboos around the condition and ensuring that patients are given appropriate care and treatment and early diagnosis.

It’s quite opposite excision is superior to ablation. Ablation has higher reoccurrence.

He states that "ablation has a higher short term recurrence rate." I think that means that it comes back quicker with ablation compared to excision? There's a lot of incorrect information on this video. Two examples: endometriosis can be diagnosed by MRI or transvaginal ultrasound. This is Ron. It can only be diagnosed through laparoscopic surgery. It has also been proven that retrograde menstruation is NOT the root cause of endometriosis...

Endometriosis is common in teens and often seen in post menopausal women, uterus tube and ovaries are not the most common sites of occurrence, and endometriosis is not endometrial tissue.

Thanks. I currently have endometriosis and my doctors suspect I have an autoimmune disorder also. Just pointing out the tissue is similar to the endometriom- but not the same.

Being in the state made me remember the woman with the issue of blood in the bible, the unnecessary bleeding doesn't ever cease to stop. When I was told about Dr Iyhere. See a different GP - or PCP (Primary Care Practitioner) - and get a referral to a gynaecologist who can discuss the symptoms with you. Heavy bleeding tends to cause anaemia and isn't normal so you should see a gynaecologist about it.

NSAIDs should not be prescribed to those with endometriosis! NSAIDs increase bleeding which exacerbates the endo due to increased bleeding of the endometriomas.
