Endoscopy Experience

Just to ease everyone minds about the Endoscopy. I had mine done today. If you are getting sedated than you'll not even notice It. I totally went in today so freaked out and worried with so much anxiety. Everyone was super nice and literally when they start they tell you to take a couple of deep breaths in to fall asleep and your literally sleeping by the 4th breath and wake up and its done before you even know it. Just relax dont get scared it'll be fine. Some people says it the best sleep they've had in a while :)

I'm getting both mouth and butt a week from today. Never been sedated either. Freaking out.

Do you recall choking? The scope entering? Were you moderately or conscious sedated

I like ginger ale and have small veins which can make getting an IV started difficult.

I had one last week, I was knocked out and had a great sleep lol, bit of a sore throat a day later and that was it.

Ive never heard of them keeping water from you except like 4 hours before. I was told to drink more water!

Have just had this done, all normal thankfully. It's horrible!! Colonoscopy is so much easier. It's not the worst thing I've had but it's high on the list. If it was unbearable they wouldn't let you do it without sedation, in the UK they do anyway.

I am getting a E.G.D on August 9th and I'm very nervous! The doctor said it only last 4-5 minutes for him to go in and look. Even tho 4-5min doesn't seem long, its just still nerve racking. Thanks for this video...You helped me, SOME 😉
