My dad is a 20th Century Boy. This manga and song gives me a bittersweet feeling on how it makes me think him. He told me so many stories about how he first heard rock'and roll living in a small town here in Brazil back in the early 70s, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, CSNY, CCR and so on. Some of his friends used to travel around and brought the LPs.. just like Kenji and Onocho in Japan... My mais taste in music is all because of him. Live on rockin.

I always approach every new manga I read with an open mind, I don't ever go about it thinking "this ain't 20th Century Boys tho". I read 34 novels, 45 manga and seen 20 tv shows and something like 200 movies in my entire life, plenty of which considered to be the absolute best by many people. But no other story has ever made me laugh, cry, think and give me the feelings that 20th Century Boys did. The only piece of media that makes me wish there was a device to make me forget everything so that I can reread it all over as if it's the first time.

I’ve heard a few versions of this song, including covers, and this is by far the best version I’ve heard. When I first heard this version, I had it on repeat. The way it sounds just feels so raw and beautiful. It’s like it hits so close to the manga’s actual feel. So, I started the manga this year over a week ago. Currently at chapter 52. I love the manga and this song makes me wanna cry. It just brings up so much nostalgia as if I have read this manga in my childhood.
