Yeah was tough in places, the queues didn’t help to keep momentum! Goggles steamed up on lap 1, then rode the rest with no goggles… They eye full of mud didn’t help 😁 I’ll be less kind next time!

@ Same to you mate but I just sat in silence, first race so was absolutely bricking it! 🤣 Came 68th in our class mate with 5 laps so not great but just happy to get round it! How about you bud?

@ Jeez well done, should be proud of that! I was 111th in class. Stopped after chaos hell with arm pump lap 1, stopped after chaos hill with an eye full of mud lap 2, stopped with arm pump again after chaos hill on lap 3 😂 Should of really had 4 laps..

Good job at completing it bud... May i suggest a tip? Now i dont want you to think like im saying it in a sense of "im better than you, your doing it wrong"...... But its just my 2 cents... Ive been riding motocross from the age of 5, and im now 35... Ive just learnt a few things over the years, that i realised, Are more efficient when riding... TIP: Stand up more... Let me explain: Alot of people assume that you car relax more, and get less fatigue when sitting... This is actually the very opposite... When you are standing, Gripping the bike with your knee's, body in "attack position"... You are working with the bike... Your head is forward, So when you accelerate, Your getting PUSHED with the bike.. Instead of pulled back.... When you are sitting.. You'r actually fighting the bike under acceleration.. Momentum is pulling you backwards... .Which in turn, Requires your arm muscles alot more than you realise.. Leading to arm fatigue and arm pump, alot earlier on than you think too... Also, when standing and gripping with your knee's... Your allowing the bike to do its thing underneath you.. if the bike wants to move and twitch around... let it.... You have the bike locked with your knee's... and your back wheel is accelerating, pushing your forwards... So as long as you are accelerating... the bike moving and twitching underneith you, Cant go out of control.. because as much as the bike wants to slide to the side.. it cant.... The forwards momentum will straighten the bike up naturally.... Also... If you are sitting, and the bike is kicking around underneith you.... You'r having to use your arms once again.. to keep the bike straight and upright.... Same applies when your body is feeling the tiredness of riding.. people think "im going to sit down for this section, give my body a rest"...... Nope.... Standing in correct position, and gripping the bike correctly.. Gives your body the rest.....

Hey mate! Thanks so much for taking the time to write the comment, really appreciate it! That’s what this channel is about, is my progression from starting enduro and all tips are more than welcome. It’s something I’ve been trying to work on lately is trying to stand up as much as possible. I still have to work on the attack position as I’m still wearing myself out standing, so body position is incorrect, but I’m getting there. Thanks for breaking it down and the detailed explanation ❤️

Indeed mate! More I practice, better I’ll get! I’ve only put 17 hours on the bike since 2023… Van has been out of action with a bad engine so haven’t been out as much as I’d like to. However, new van incoming which means a lot more riding! 😁 Thanks for the sub and the tips mate, really appreciate it!
