This is one of the best channels on youtube. Very underrated. I look forward to your videos. As a kid i snagged a rope on my thumb and completely ripped it off. it's on my throttle hand. We ride hard enduro and people are always amazed how good i can ride a bike without it.

Not sure if you saw in the video, a mate Graham Dewez also has one complete hand that’s been injured and he know has a clip in pedal in the end of his bars and tapes the other part on his hand.. still rides like a boss!!

My friend did a similar injury where he was getting off a ladder and caught his ring on a nail. It degloved his finger. The same as you. I noted the permanent "Shocker" hand that he now has. His new nickname is "Shocker Dan". He lost his finger much shorter than yours a few weeks before I crashed on my F800GS. I broke my clavicle, foot, disco big toe. I woke up in hospital with Dan placing his still healing "Stumpy" in my mouth. Fucker. Seems like the disc got it. Ouch. You are one tough man. The ending of your video is priceless man

Yeah mate, definitely in the disk.. think 🤔 I may have just been in shock that it happened so quickly? I thought it must have been the spokes.

@@SeasonalTherapy Funny I saw this a week or so ago and felt the same thing. The disk did it. A clean cut. The spokes would cause the finger to fold over and get pulled off and likely stretch out the tendon with it. As a paramedic that is what my eye saw and experience with shit getting chopped off. Either way, you are a tough MF with a great attitude. Just a finger, you have 7 more. PS my 8 year old daughter fell over on her Honda F110. Slow motion she placed her hands down and almost directly into the back tire spinning with a open throttle. I nearly shit myself because I thought she would have done the same as you did with her whole hand. That was a few years ago, so your video brought back that near miss. Fk her mom would have been pissed

Looks like you finger went into the brake disk and took it off, once your finger went behind the forks. That sucks, took it like a champ. Guess you can say he owes you a finga lol
