@@markharlor1144the trouble is how hard it is to watch it! I subscribed to discovery plus on Amazon to get Eurosport, watched the female elites then it was all stop. Only place to watch was Eurosport app and subscription isn’t transferable, which would mean having to pay again! Safe to say I didn’t subscribe and also cancelled the sub on Amazon.

Ric was the only one who dared to lift the heavy legacy from Warner, and cudos for that, but he knows to little about DH, and Josh Carlson would probably be a better choice.

He doesn't have to excite people for every single split and the colour commentators are able to see splits too. Claudio (who i didn't really like) was never interrupted by Rob to the same degree that Ric interrupts everyone.

Why does Ric have to talk so much? He totally dominates the other two commentators who are both much more knowledgeable than him. Just coming out with inane stuff like "he rides a fine line between precision and total destruction" That's just absolute nonsense and adds nothing to the commentary.

The play-by-play commentator describes the events (sort of a relic from radio era) and color commentator provides analysis. Warner was a perfect play-by-play, Ric just doesn't quite have the ability to generate enthusiasm for viewers. I don't think the issue is him interrupting the color analysis, that's kind of how the system works.

I get RedBull may have low bid but they really did invest in the sport. The thing I miss most is the riders go pros when it gets to the race/qualy/semis. Now we just cant see that anywhere apart from a selected few. We used to be able to watch people ramp up the speed from trackwalk to racerun and see every yard thanks to riders own KZbin accounts. Now I get to watch selected parts of runs on a highlights? Massive backwards step for us fans... Paywall the livestreams, but please let the riders profit from sharing with us fans 🙏

I've seen nothing, why are you covering view angles just so it looks fast, we've seen nothing, neither what lines were picket in crucial sectors not how they have entered.
