Due to the fact that he runs on energy, later on in the series he starts to run out and then has to rely on Grim (the wolf shadow thing) for an energy source, hence the black eyes

actually, it is. Endling apparently gave unknown some of the story panels, which is why there is corrilation between the finale (which endling is starting to post) and the teaser. for more info, look at endling's journal. epic job on the Law of Talos finale btw! =D

may i put my opinion, last i checked, the prize was Drawing the comic exactly for Unknownperson, an i think they said Endling gave him the story script explaining the flash he made. Making a flash of it would defeat the purpose of it being a present, and i think it might also be an insult to Endlings artistry(he makes a flash version of a present, isnt the comic good enough?) Im not saying thats not a bad idea, but i dont think he will make a flash for it.
