This video speaks truth! The entirety of Wano was about identity, or rather the masks people wear. CP9 literally wore masks. And the entire world government itself is a massive mask. A face they're putting on. Then we get to Egghead where it's about showing us that characters so strongly characterized that we didn't even think were wearing a metaphorical mask were doing so. Kizaru, the man who's known for being the most unwavering government dog finally had his mask break by going against what he truly wanted. Kuma wore a mask for the sake of others for so long that even when his true nature was revealed and the entirety of him was stripped away, that true nature, that kind face still existed. Lucci took off his mask when he begged Mars to save Kaku. Even Vegapunk wore a mask as the world's greatest scientist to probably shield himself from the negative repercussions his actions had caused the world, but someone like Clover was able to convince him to look further into the government and in doing so helped Vegapunk to take off his own mask and face the truth of his own actions and of the world itself. And that's why I think it's so symbolic in a world where so many people wear masks because of the negativity of the world, Luffy does not wear a mask at all, meaning he's completely free, with no regrets. Which brings me to my final and biggest question: What's gonna happen when the government's mask is finally taken off? Is that when the final war starts? When all chaos breaks loose even more-so than on Egghead? I cannot wait.

Just one thing about Kizaru giving Luffy food. It could have been him but anyone seems to forget that Van Augur (who teleports and thus is as fast as light) could have given him food. You hit the mark about the whole mask thing. Recall of "Brag Men". About potential characters that can show up this Arc, you stuck up needlessly almost a Final Arc rooster. Big Mom and Underworld really need to be resolved for the CP0 to take a stand with Sword potentially. Shanks Vs Teach is LoadStar material since both their group have Wild West themes.( hence their stand off in Marineford) makes natural progression to go from Samurai to Vikings and then Texas Rangers( Rucky Roo)

I feel like Loki's fruit would be a combination of Surtr and Fenrir from Norse mythology. A god who would represent chaos and destruction, but also represent transformation and renewel, rebellion, raw primal power and the dark uncontrollable inevitability of change and fate itself. Also have the body and fire manipulation of a lunarian, shapeshifting and reactive adaptation like Doomsday or Mahoraga.

I was a little lost at the start because I didn’t get the Enel/Loki parallel, but the more I thought about it and the more you talked about it, it makes sense. Elbaf might be part Alabasta and part Skypeia since I do think the more direct comparison is arcs like Alabasta and Dressrosa. I do think a big comparison you missed, along with Skypeia, and Wano is Fishman Island. Also has a king with a god name, and giant tree, a dragon on Ryugu Kingdom, and literally the same distance from the surface as Skypeia, except underground. It also has a giant princess and a king that looks pretty giant. We even had Wadatsumi. Interesting things about these places is that they all have extra flashbacks.

Love all of the comparisons, & I think that another character that we might focus on is Haredas because ever since he was mentioned to have been born on Birka the Sky Island I had a theory that he was maybe the one that either thought Enel or Enel stole his research (maybe even a certain Rumble-Rumble Fruit) which led to Enel making the Ark Maxim making it a powerful weapon & if Enel is returning Nami could tell us that, but this maybe happens with the fact that at the end of Egghead arc the satellites contacting him reintroducing into the story - Another reason why Vivi saying she is a Straw Hat would be interesting is that now everyone knows that Luffy is the son of Dragon & the brother of Sabo aka the man that killed Vivi’s father (at least that what the world thinks) which I think will make people that there is something more to this connection like maybe some average citizen will start to ask “did Sabo really kill him, or was that a lie ?”

I’d like to think that the Gorosei and Shanks have an agreement of sorts. As he’s an emperor, and emperors are more or less left to do as they please bar Luffy (And Buggy but he’s a different conversation), they probably see Shanks as not really being an obstacle, plus, know his true origins. It would be the most logical reasoning behind why his appearance in front of them was rather casual in terms of how it played out. Prior to Marineford, the 4 emperors were left alone and weren’t really targeted by the government as far as we know, which would add a little into that, but there is probably more to it than that.

Why would Linlin have Carmel's Devil Fruit? There wasn't even anyone else there aside of two people watching: a giant, and Strussen. Strussen watched the whole thing, and found it to be the funniest thing he'd ever seen, as well as a golden opportunity for himself to get a real leg up in the world of pirates. He wasn't in on Carmel's bid, he just saw what Linlin did while she was blinded by her own happiness and excessive hunger.

We do seem to know Carmel completed her last transaction like she said she would(c867) if the gasmask orphan was on God Valley 25 years later as a God Knight with Garling(c1095), and big IF Ju Peter has a reveal of being the Prince/Rich Kid or gasmask orphan from c866/867.(if Garling becomes #1 circle then it works like Cipher Pol with higher numbers being higher ranking which supports Ju Peter being newer than the others before Garling, also meaning Saturn was the most trusted by Imu and now Mars would be #5 or the top Gorosei) The reason Big Mom has Carmels fruit is 1 of 2 reasons assuming the other orphans were sold. Either 100% an oda joke where Carmel finished selling the other orphans while Linlin ate then for lack of a better term "tripped" over something and landed on the table which Big Mom said she ate some of, an "accident" that is pure Oda karma for a terrible person. Or with that giant surviving and likely soon to appear on Elbaph, did Carmel remove her own fruit and feed it to Big Mom so Carmel appeared to have been eaten so she could retire like she planned? There is 1 other time we've seen a fruit removed with Blackbeard taking Whitebeards fruit, other than that no mention of it in the entire story so far. Well let's think about what else Blackbeard of note before he went down to capture Ace, take his commanders from Impel Down, and take Whitebeards fruit. He overthrew Wapol, the only time he overthrew someone before the timeskip, but why? Well Mother Carmel happened to be the "Mountain Witch" correct? Coincidentally we know another "Witch" on Drum Kingdom, who survived Wapols capture of all the doctors which is why BB likely took down Wapol in rage for thinking that Wapol also took out the Witch Doctor Kuhera. It's also weird that Kuhera is 2 years younger than Carmel, is an opposite in almost every way almost intentionally, and hides from everyone until she takes the castle over. Also weird is in c867 Carmel has a reference to an event 37 years before that 63 year old flashback which is implied to have opened up her ability to operate on Elbaph, and what happened 100 years ago with some giant leaders from Elbaph? Dorry and Broogy happen to start a duel on of all islands Little Garden, which is basically next to Drum Kingdom Kuhera our Witch in question has been on for most of her life? Idk if Kuhera is Carmel, assuming she lied 2 years about her age, but Kuhera has something to say about Carmel. Also make sense to see the Holy Knights roll to Elbaph if this is true and Big Mom appears, so the gasmask kid can tell Big Mom what happened and it would explain the Orphans trained for Cipher Pol become Holy Knights if they get strong enough.

And thus I find it very unlikely that she ate the other orphans. It was weird for Mother Carmel to randomly placate Linlin with sweets if it wasn't an attempt to placate her so they could take all her friends away against their will. I suspect she can even then distinguish between "food" and "not food" even if she will absolutely runover everyone in the way. The desert she was given did have fruit so she may have killed Mother Carmel and then one of the fruits in her desert became the devil fruit which she then ate.

There is a big part of me that wants Enel to have tricked Loki, who then got rid of his father Harold, and Enel stole a legendary Thunder fruit and fled through the sky islands to stop giants from chasing him due to their size. Happening 8+ years ago before Enel went to Skypeia, they just finally got sick of Loki 6 years ago when he did something else maybe upto taking down a Yonko so Shanks got his new title. That also kind of aligns with just after Lucci and others were put on Water7 and Bellemere left the Marines, curious what the event was. But I can see Enel possibly comes back and we see giants versus tiny robot army, we get an awakened Logia who now can go toe to toe with Luffy, and Enel needs some closure in the story. Meanwhile Vivi/Robin is taken by Spandam, who knows Saul from his father?😮 Also be awesome to see 9 god knights with Garling versus the Straw Hats, revealing Shanks lineage and that the Orphans survivied and likely Carmel did too. Electricity/power like the thunder fruit Enel has, which Vegapunk could have studied while studying texts on Elbaph when Harold had at the time, could have inspired the Mother Flame too.

@Phantasmen Carmel removed it and fed it to Linlin, like Blackbeard did to Whitebeard when he removed the Quake Fruit. If Carmel is alive I'm not 100%, but the orphans were sold in her last deal from Lamb House and she may have kept selling them orphans.(Gasmask kid proves it on God Valley 25 years later, Ju Peter is also likely the little rich prince kid from Lamb House) Remember when Blackbeard overthrew one little island before the timeskip where Kuhera lives called Drum Kingdom at the time, the "Witch" Kuhera who happens to be 2 years younger than "Mountain Witch Carmel"? We didn't get why he'd do that, he didn't go after another island leader until the time skip. What if he knew Kuhera knew what Carmel knew on how to remove a Devil Fruit, and took down Wapol thinking that Kuhera was gone. Maybe because Carmel and Kuhera are sisters or were young witches together. Then you also have 1 small detail that ties this together that Carmel said she did something 37 years before the 63 year old flashback, which would be the same 100 year total that Dorry and Broggy started fighting on the island next to Drum Kingdom randomly and then Carmel moved right after that fight started to Elbaph to try to sell giants? That's a heck of a coincidence... Add in Oda liking to do weird mirrors of characters and Kuhera and Carmel are opposites in many ways. Carmel is a fake nun, who secretly hates kids, and dreams of being done with that scheme. Kuhera is a rocker, who pretends to hate Chopper but loves him, and we aren't she what her retired dream us besides to do her own thing. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if Carmel is Kuhera, or at the least is her sister.

So if the WG couldn't afford her who could? And it just so happens after Carmels "last deal" right when Linlin comes back from her manic food episode the perfect chef with the perfect devil fruit user just appeared who can cook anything Linlin wants to keep her happy? I think Carmel may have sold Linlin to Steussen or maybe even to Rocks or some other pirate who had the money to buy Linlin, Streusen is just too perfect of a character to appear to tame Big Mom. Big Mom isn't supposed to know what happened, she is supposed to think her friends left her and Steussen just appeared to "save her". But there is a giant who was watching the birthday party in the anime we should see soon in Elbaph, and also if Big Mom didn't eat any of her friends then she has been framed as a bad person by Carmel and the Giants need to know Carmel was a liar and Big Mom is basically just Lenny from Mice and Men who is kind but doesn't know their own strength. I'm not sold on the heart becoming the devil fruit, not a bad idea, but idk if Oda would go so deep as to say BB ate WBs heart. Sounds metal, but not so much Shonen. @NeonRoger I just like the heart theory bc it makes total sense for now, also with big mom, since she for sure also ate carmels heart if she ate her, hearts are fruit esque and the soul(s) "living" in there would also not be too much of a stretch. I get where you're coming from, but I fail to see the relevance of Big Mom receiving Carmels fruit, yeah its misdirection, but at what cost and for what need? Devilfruits seem to dissappear for the WG from time to time anyways. When it comes to Streusen I agree, but I can simply take your theory, add in (un)lucky timing and boom, the potential new buyer or handler(Maybe Carmel wanted his help to control her themselves) witnesses a tragedy and gets Big Mom for free, now with a devilfruit. In General I just think big Mom eating Carmel etc, is too poetic of a death to be a secret plot.

Still thinking there are only 2 "true" devil fruits. One from Adam tree, one from Eve Tree. Nika, and whatever Imu has. They are polar opposites and every other devil fruit is the result of misremembering and wishes that resulted in derivative fruits. I feel like if you categorized every potential "ability" of the Nika fruit and what it's opposite might be for Imu's fruit, you can categorize nearly every single fruit under those 2 root fruits.
