I legit need feedback on this so Overwatch buffed Hanzo, Mei, Sombra, Mcree, Reaper, Torb, and Sym not long ago making playing tank a living nightmare. I even thought Brig was ok cause imo she taught tanks to work together but now when I play tank I get hacked, stunned, frozen, and melted instantly! I play every single tank but it makes no difference. OW needs to either buff tanks or nerf these DPS buffs. Tanks are what makes Overwatch special to me and a lot of other people please stop making playing them a secondary roll.

But triple tank triple support has been the meta for like a year.. I'm a tank player too and yeah, dealing with some of these in a 1v1 sucks but we need counters too. Thankfully my DPS friends are good and actually help me when my counters show up. Especially Mei because I'm primarily a Hamtaro main.

i get the pain as a tank main, but this also isnt the right place to comment this 🤔 but also, without these counters tanks would probably stomp everything, specifically dva, even though she does anyways you just need to stick with your team, and when any of these happen to you, if youre in comp, make sure the enemies presence is known through comms

The reason tanks were both bad and meta at the same time for a long while is because healers (Goats was enabled by brig and moira) were the most meta, and tanks are the only one who can enable a healer-based comp like that, despite them being super vulnerable to CC. (Rein especially, his interactions with Doom and Brig were big oofs.) This same ultra-heal meta was the reason doom became "op" (other than him finally not being hella buggy) huge burst that's only provided by him and hanzo became one of the few viable solutions to deal with the nutty healing. CC ironically fed into itself as well, if you can simply separate the tank from the healer, you can just bully them till they die. All we needed to "buff tanks" was to reduce both healing and ultra-burst's (RIP my man doom you will be missed) effectiveness, and then things start working again.
