Yeah, animation events are so useful! The attack system is really cool, and I love the one where the aliens come out of it's mouth :D That is also a great solution for the transparent/opaque materials. Also, really appreciate the shoutout!!! Keep up the good work!

Awesome, the big spider alien is very well made. And the idea with destructible enviroment is cool, I can just imagine how this game will look in 3-4 months:)) Anyway, I am already a subscriber of GamesInHouse and ZeroTris. Maybe in the near future you can make a discord server, I really want to talk with you about this game:)

Instead of just fading, it might be cool if when dead the aliens quickly decompose into the group. btw good work :)

Nice video. I normally leave the enemy's body on the ground. Because my game is a turn-based game, not so many enemies for each battle. So it is OK. For a shooting game, I would say leave it on the ground for a certain time. Then sink or fade the body. :)

Thanks! And yeah, I was considering adding rag-doll physics to the aliens, but I don’t really want too much clutter in the level. Having then active all the time might also have a slight impact on performance, and being a mobile game, that’s quite important! :)

Nice workaround for pathfinding with the destructible obstacles. You definitely should use something like A* alghorithm and do a proper pathfinding.

Yeah! I replied to your comment in the last devlog! :) It’s going to follow a “freemium” business model, meaning that it will be free, however there will be items in-game (such as certain clothing, limited edition items etc.) that will be available through in-app purchases!

You can switch between portrait and landscape mode! I just find that when I’m developing the game in the editor, arranging my panels/windows that way is the best! :)

I’ll definitely be adding some rag-doll physics! They’re so much fun to play with! 😜 Also, lots of people have been asking, so I’ll definitely consider a PC port!
