Thunder belt is actually a good item for Clint in solo ranks. The slowdown is a must for chasing tanky and high mobility heroes as your team might not follow up or help you slow em down in solo rank. And, also the mana regen helps a ton in not leting you recall so that you can split push

Have also been using sea halberd in my Hayabusa games. Pretty useful these days, especially against the tankcelotts and tankzos.

I dont use Sea Halberd for the 8% damage, but due to the Anti Heal effect which usually is not needed since Clint is a Burst Hero. 8% is blocked by armor too so it doesnt do much like Thunderbelt which is True Damage. I buy Thunderbelt same like the explanation on the Vid, and I only opt for it when I know ill need 2 defensive items like when against Core Saber. If i wont go 2 defensive items, i dont buy it and stick to all damage items.

thunderbelt is useless for dps hero since they reworked the slow. before it was a fixed amount, now you need extra hp to get higher slow effect. before karrie and clint use em to slow and range-check enemies.

As a clint main, yes thunderbelt barely is effective for clint. And here is some advice from me: You want to save your ult grenades until u join a teamfight. When clearing the lane, just use skill 1, dont waste your ult. You might need them later in case. Ofc clint needs more attack items, but endless battle, blade of despair is already good damage, you can add mafelic roar for more penetration against physical defense.

firstly, you should know I'm a sincere fan of you and i watch your videos to learn something from. since i found your channel, my clint's game improved alot. with that being said, let me disagree on a few things here: 1. valid points on thunderbelt and it's true it's not a viable item as first item but can be bought as last or 2nd last item. the point i disagree with is that you said the reason people buy it first is to get def points and protection from physical assassin's but that's not the purpose of it. because for that there are plenty of other items available already. the belt is a utility item, not a damage item. it's bought for the same reasons why other utility items are bought for & that is to slow the enemies and affect their micro play. clint is the only marksman who can abuse ranged slow effects on multiple enemies repeatedly via thunderbelt which is something one shouldn't just ignore. 2. sea halberd's damage passive (+8%) is equivalent to nearly +15 straight pen or hunter strike's straight pen. if you do the damage formula, you'll conclude this too. keeping this in view, hunter strike is a way better item compared to sea halberd for clint even against tanks since it gives movement boost and cd reduction that comes in handy. but but yes, against regen tanky fighters sea halberd is definitely superior in melting them... but but but again buying an equipment to reduce regen is a utility item that suits tanks more (dominance ice since it has better stats and an additional passive for lowering atk spd)

explanation could be - sea halberd increases the 'users' dmg the true dmg from endless is counted as an item dmg not as an user dmg thats why the halberd didnt increase the endless battle's tru dmg. this theory can be easily proven by testing if sea halberd increases cursed helmets/thunderbelts/twilight/blade armor dmg but im too lazy to do that so yeah.

I always try to purchase sea halberd on clint. Especially if the enemies have estes or tanky heroes like barats or fredrinn. Easy 40% damage dealt ,140-160k .
