Hi. Just got this ENER-J WiFi Door Sensor .Works fine in the APP and discovers door open/close and i have linked the skill in Alexa and in Alexa i can see door open/close.But.. Routines does not work. I want Alexa to annouce if door sensor indicates open/closed.I can go in to Alexa app, look at Device and see when door was opend or closed. I can also ask Alexa if door is open.I use the ENER-J APP and skills are activated, and i have tried reset, redo may times.Help!

Can you clear the Cache on the app to free up storage?, cannot see how on this as yet - beginner lol

Will it alter me if the door has been open for duration of time, maybe 5 minutes? The door being open isn’t a problem but the door being left open is.

The enerj app is ecpxactly the same with the smart life app. Have you tried to pair the, with the smart life app? If yes does they work with Alexa? Can the PIR sensor trigger an alexa routine for the lights ?

Yes it can work with smart life and you can do routines to trigger lights.

Hi I got the sensor because of your great explanation, thanks. I have a question there is an app in Google Home called "Enerj smart" which is the same brand as the door sensor but you used Smart Life, what's the difference?

Hi, thanks for you r video. My PIR is on my front door, when I open the door, the light switches on, but I want the light to stay on for 2 miutes, and the switches off. can you please, help me creating the scene, please? many thanks

Ok i've just tested this and can confirm it works so in the task list for the light turning on set a delay for 2mins and after that add in the light again and set to turn off.

Hi I don't have home wifi just on my phone where I have an unlimited sim only contract so my question is can I install this device and sync it with my phone. Cheers.

If you created a hotspot on your phone then you can add but you would have to have the phone at home all the time for this to work.

Would this work as a door left open alarm? eg. Could you create an Alexa routine that will - wait 1 minute after the door has been opened and then check that it is now closed. If not sound an alarm / send an alert.

Thanks for the comment, I just tested and unfortunately it didn't work. I couldn't do a check on the door status after 1 min. And you can't get Alexa to say the message. Would have been great if it worked.
