Reverse ebi 😉 the Ebi also known as ‘shrimp’ move or hip escape. Hope that helps!

When doing the guard pass. I have heard that you want to pass on the opposite side of the underhook. (i.e. if you have an underhook on the left body, then you pass/knee slice on the right leg and vice versa). Is this idea valid?

Yes that’s definitely a good rule of thumb to not get your back taken and have good control 👌🏼
