What amazes me the most, is why are balance changes ever needed. playtesting done properly, before new weapons/systems are introduced would solve this. Thier GREED in putting overpowered stuff in battlepasses just to "cash in", grab the cash & then nerf stuff need to be stopped. No weapon/system should ever be overpowered if they quit being "greedy" and stop putting overpowered stuff in battlepasses..... Ever since "non-stop" battlepasses - game constantly needs balance changes - notice a pattern ????

Pretty much any online game gets changed frequently. Games I played a lot that come to mind is Ark, Helldivers 2, path of exile, and the list will go on. Hell even table top war games go thru balance changes very often which really sucks because you are buying physical models and painting them which costs hundreds of dollars for things to be nerfed. At the end of the day, a game like this genuinely needs changes to stay fresh. They may be to often and a nit extremem but I imagine the game would have died years ago if they never changed anything.

The reason for needing to balance the game is because the player base will find and abuse more exploits than the devs are able to anticipate.

The game is too far gone now lol, and the devs never go directly back on changes, only in a new (usually bad) direction. Imo to make the game in a much better state they need to go back to pre 2.0 and rethink it

The Cerberus change means it isnt damaging parts below the surface layer i think. Fair enough, you want to melee below the outer shell of an enemy? Theres a reason to use Tempura/Tachi over Maulers. Nice to see Targem has finally given a thought to not breaking everyones builds with major changes but still going to have rebuild most my builds. Sigh.

I never found myself doing "damage greater than some weapons" with the Cerberus... Especially when I do more damage grinding the enemy with an Auger wheel...

Intresting, i see this not nerf to epic light and heavy cabins, but as buff to legendary. I think epic cabins still gonna be more dominant in random maches, legendary cabins more for clan wars. Legendary cabin more ofter oriented for coordinated team fights

I had 10 out of 14 Hermes fused. THANK GOODNESS I never reached my goal, RIGHT!?!? Devs and the people in charge should really take some time to consider that this is a game where players set long term goals and grind towards them. So as we're grinding for years to get our builds calculated and fused to perfection, they keep moving the goal post! While also rendering our builds inoperable without massive reworking. I have pages and pages of Math that I have done to figure out the most efficient combination of wheels to use, total mass with all mass reduction fusions accounted for, etc.All needing to be done again and i hadn't even got halfway to unlocking all parts for my previous Rework of the Math Their constant meddling (thats what it is, Meddling. Causing us to spend extra hours in the garage) It's really going to defeat the purpose at a certain point and undermine the core gameplay loop. When we're more than halfway through grinding towards something, and they come out with something new thats the same except better. Or worse, when we grind to buy/craft something successfully and then it becomes obsolete in the same way, OR by being nerfed. And then we're stuck with it unable to sell.... Back when they were meta, I fused 4 piercer SMGs for the best possible perks on all 4. Now they SUCK post nerf. And guess what? Im stuck with em, and I really wish I could sell. And guess what? The new unfusion event doesn't include Piercers! because they KNOW that a bunch of us fused em years ago and regret it now. Assholes

The constant buffs and nerfs can be frustrating for sure. I love my fused piercers. Even if I haven't used them in a long time lol I use to farm with my piercers when I was a wee 4-5k farmer. :D the good Ole days

That's unfortunate the main reason why i stopped playing this game (Besides the fact i wasn't able to transfer my progress from my old console to PC, loosing actual years of progress) These dumb ballance changes are to frequent. You never know if your beloved weapon, cabin or module will become useless next week, almost every week. +some people have lives outside of the game too, so grinding 10h is not possible for some of us. So for me, getting an Odin generation is basically impossible, locking me away from creating some interesting builds. That's why i liked this game. Because i could just hop on 1-2h max, get my badges, exchange them for goods and keep crafting/doing some stuff on the market. Now being a F2P player is basically a death sentence, unless you have hours of your life to sink into this game... Such a shame. I loved this game so much.

If you love the game for what it is, then an Odin doesnt matter. Just have fun with what you can, when you can, and enjoy whatever powerscore you enjoy and can play in.

Can someone explain me the table at 1:16 ? This table means that, for example a common cab will have 19-21 energy or what ? So i would be able to use 4x cyclon on common cabs ?

Cyclone energy will be doubled so you won't be able to have 4x cyclones. Think they will be 10 energy each in the update.

Im a completionist in this game so Im fusing mine. It is lighter than the apollo and has more energy so it is better in every way. Although, is it worth almost 10x the price? debatable. It is also going to be less explosive than an apollo after the update, I think.

At low PS shotgun wedges still annoy the hell out of me, though I'm not sure what more can be done past the physics tweak they did a while back. The wheel durability changes might help, but all too often I get pulped before having a chance to free myself for that to even matter.

I now have 5 fused relics, I have crafted 20 relics, and can play almost anything I want. PC has it rough for market tho and clan battles tbh. Rough life for PC players.

If this balances low PS for new players, I think it will be great, but also, making legendary cabins more valuable clearly lines their pockets.

They balance based off what they plan on selling us. They balanced the game intentionally so that too many things deal too much damage VS how much durability parts actually have, just so they could sell us the Omamori. This reduced the energy of all builds, just so they could later sell us back the energy they took away by selling us the Odin. Now, they are reducing the energy of all endgame builds again, just so they can sell us it back again with either Relic Heavy gen or Relic cabs later this year. Also, to make players feel more forced to use the legendary cabs, which are sold in BPs.
