I thank you immensely for clearly explaining some of the terms used in describing different HVACR systems. I have been out of school for a couple of years. Your videos are informative and help to refresh many of the technical aspects that are forgotten if not reiterated over and over again.

Is that the blower motor and compressor wattage combined =total wattage? or just the compressor

They include the blower but the wattage is so small it is nearly insignificant.

Dear Sir, can you clarify this for me please: EER is equal to BTU/h over input Wattage. and we know that we can convert BTU/h to W/h by multiplying with 0.293071 so we know that BTU's/h is our output and W/h is our input and when we convert our BTU/h to W/h and then divide output wattage over input wattage we get a number greater than one, which doesn't make sense, since our ideal efficiency wouldn't exceed 1. Thanks

It does make sense, because you are moving heat somewhere else, not creating it. So it can be several times more efficient than 1. That's why we use heat pumps for heating.

1234568....😮 And behind ol' #7 My conspiracy theory... The warranty expired on the Copeland chillers, due to an overload of superheated refrigerant, tube and shell was not capable of dumping that kind of heat in the river!
