I found that the right social worker can be a blessing. They can look at the entire situation + offer suggestions and resources you might never have considered. Having a guide and health plan is essential. There are also carer support groups and services over the phone that can make your life a lot easier. Please don't dismiss this out of hand, these things really do help and free up time. Think positive and believe in hope. Hope cures quite a lot and also opens the door to helpful people and solutions. Never hurts to ask a social worker "what services are available to me"
