PG&E is leading the way as the first utility to develop an incentive program for efficient pumps - and several others are close behind. The key to these programs is the HI Energy Rating Label. This video explains how the ER Label and HI’s database can calculate energy savings - and help utilities manage rebate programs. In 2020, as funding for energy efficiency programs shifts from lighting to pumping system incentives, the role and value of the ER database as a qualified product list and a resource for utilities will only grow.
