This is an interesting concept and a great video. Am constructing a mathematical model for the movement and expenditure of energy in racehorses, and one of the most difficult things to understand about racing has been the concept of why a horse that takes the early lead in a race is likely to ultimately win the race. It appears to be because, since most energy expenditure comes in acceleration, if a horse is in the lead it does not need to accelerate (i.e. “catch up to” any other horse), so its energy expenditure will be minimal, compared to horses who must come from behind. On the other hand, the concept you have explained illustrates how speed horses who compete with each other the whole way in the race- that is, who constantly try to outrun (out-accelerate?) each other, burn out by expending all their energy. Perhaps this is too simplistic use of the concept but perhaps it holds some truth.

We don't need mass why you choose 500 kg. Isn't that make our calculate harder? We don't need the mass because it's same in every equal
