The house is just cold for being nicely appointed except for the main kitchen! Why on earth do they always want to make the main kitchen disappear!? I want my wolf gas stove, and cooktops up top, on view not in the basement which is yet another drawback. This hours will need $10 million in rectifying the mistakes, and it still sits on a cliff with the main road going through it's front yard, what there is of it anyway. @perkygrubb2 сағат бұрын
Yeah. He did a long comment on that other property that he loved and I get it. Sooooo many houses have all the flaws he mentions often. So you just have to come around and accept/compromise. I hated that house he said he loved, because I had internalized all the things he critiques about houses. Nearly everything about that house was problematic - upside down, no set back, a long house, tiny garage, no spa at all, no movie theater, no chef’s kitchen etc. But then when he described why he loves it, I could see. And I also softened my hard edge around looking for a truly flawless house. Not likely to see that kind of house very often IMO.
