Sorry English is not my first language, but I would like to express my opinion, I think that as kpop stars are now entering these events, it prevents them from wearing more daring clothes, for example this is Jennie's second year at the meet gala so she will only be able to wear extravagant clothes like the big US stars after going to the event for a while. From what I've read about, this is a rule that applies to everyone who is going to the event in their first years. Maybe next year, she will be allowed to wear better clothes that attract more attention. The rule for newbies will always be this, if it's your first time you'll have to attract less attention. Jennie will probably be constantly called to the event so let's hope that maybe next time she will deliver more on the clothes.
