do some research on the developers past projects and how they marketed them. You shouldn't believe their trailers frame for frame. At this point im not even hyped for gta6, that way if any of these games are fun I'll be in for a pleasant surprise, like i was with elden ring, the last fun game i played back in 2022

Its Pearl Abyss, they made Black Desert Online which not only has amazing gameplay but is visually amazing especially for when it was released. Not worried about gameplay or visuals for Crimson Desert. Story is something im concerned about though. Overall looking forward to it. They built a good reputation with BDO with them fixing bugs in days instead of weeks or months like other Devs. Very excited

Most games do, until they are released. I have learned to never trust trailers, never pre-order and never buy a game on release day. Wait a while.

@@blaketfg9374 Yeah, it's kind of a big red flag how the gameplay trailers have revealed almost nothing about the plot or the basic premise, so I'm definitely worried there. Also worried that they're just being too ambitious. There seem to be a LOT of gameplay elements and I'm worried that they're going to be half-baked like certain things in BDO (i.e. sailing).

@@JOHNSMITH-vx5yz Well...in the case of Star Wars Outlaws(by Ubisoft)....they are notorious for ripping gamers off with expensive micro-transactions. They recently pulled thier server support for the game The Crew(which means even if you owned a physical copy, you can no longer play the game.) Their upcoming Star Wars game is the biggest example of their incessant greed. The standard edition costs $70...which is incomplete, as it is missing a DLC. Their gold edition is $110 and gives you the missing DLC, early access, and a season pass. For $130...you get everything, including outfits and an artbook. Ubisoft also gives you the option to pay $18 a month, for access to select games from their cloud library(as well as access to a 100 PC games....which is bullsh*t, if you are strictly a console game player.)Another reason not to pre-order, is that some companies(like Red Projekt)....release bug-ridden pieces of malfunctioning sh*t(such as Cyberpunk 2077)...perhaps you've heard of it??

Unrecord is incredible looking, assuming that's anything close to the actual gameplay. Spine to me basically looks like a modern Spiderman game with guns and without Spiderman. I think the two games that I found most interesting are both games with Project in the title (Project TH and Project M). It seems both are also coming out of Korea, which seems to be a rising star for cool games as far as I'm concerned.
