I like that you included footage of shooting this one-handed.

Sir, I just come across this great video on the British-made Enfield No. 2 MK I* Revolver. These well built revolvers were rugged and ultra-reliable, just what a British Officer or NCO would need for secondary use. The Enfield No. 2 MK I* Revolver would serve after WW II in former British colonies with the Defense Forces. The Royal Hong Kong Police Force used the Enfield for Police use up to the late 1950's, before being replace by the Colt Police Positive Special, also chambered in the .38/200 caliber. There is a lot of merit in a soft lead 200-gr. RNL bullet traveling at about 650-feet per second at muzzle distance. I use a 1940-era Enfield with hand loaded 200-grain lead bullets with the same ballistics as the Brit .38/200 cartridge. The double-action-only trigger, and light recoil makes this British Revolver a very good arm for home defense. I noticed that your revolver has had the lanyard removed and some non-factory grips added, that really enhances the appearance of your Enfield. The book on the Enfield No. 2 MK I Revolver by Stamps and Skennerton provides a detailed history of this fine British Revolver. The book can be bought at Amazon or better yet, off eBay at a cost savings. Thanks for your video on this "blast-from-the-past", it has been overlooked by gun writers far too long.

Just inherited one of these and haven't gotten out to the farm yet to shoot! I've also gotta teach my wife to shoot it (it's hers since she's home with the baby) this was the most in depth review I could find on KZbin

38 S&W or 38/200. Not a easy to find round in find now days. Easy to watch the bullet go down range. Nice family history.

Count yourself lucky on the trigger pull. The one that I have must be at least 18 pounds. Still, it`s a nice bit of history.

Good video! Suggestion - kill the background music. Super annoying.
