Today I was sad because a friend bought my energy down while I was talking to them and because of some criticism I got from my teacher, but then I came back to my own room feeling like I need to vent out my feelings in my journal and found out I actually calm down my own emotions by using the perspective technique. By justifying how my teachers felt and why she was acting that way my mind really went clear, and I stopped wanting to be sad. and then this video really encourage me to think of how I can stay connected to my core self inside :) very interesting

I think we are the best type imo. At a mature level it's a perfect mix of emotion and logic without the frustration and drama. By being true to yourself and understanding the opposite of your self to the T and having confidence you are you and your intentions are true you can overcome any of your flaws because the fuckin mind keeps telling me to do bad but I dont listen it's too easy ya know? But on some superhero shit dont be your own nemesis and you're good. Your mind can become your worst enemy because it can trick your heart and make your heart feel hate and turn on those that dont need or understand your hatred, although some is justified let's be real without feeling hate you're not human just dont hate other humans ya digg? Lol I know it seems like I'm just rambling but I'm just an enfj that loves to talk openly about my emotions and I just want to help my other enfjs not lose confidence as well as having others understand not to lose confidence in us because our biggest battle in life is that which is in our heart and our mind and logic, reasoning, truth, and equality is the only bridge to achieve true happiness and selflessness. Some forget even though we are teacher type we have much to learn as well so we cant be crucified or crucify ourselves when we fell conviction its normal but we enfjs obtain the ability to learn more complex situations to achieve deeper knowledge. So long as we can hold ourselves to the highest standard as well as hold others to the same without the same expectations of course then we can be free in the mind of doubts and deceitful ways to manipulate the outcomes. Of course this is solely my analysis and based off my own experiences as an individual but felt like giving my 2 cents to try to help anyone if they struggle like me being the enfj I am lmao anyway regardless of personality types if someone would like to talk about what I said or debate something I said I welcome all opinions and comments. Great video my dude I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to detail it and God bless you all, have a lovely day.

I think that hate is toxic to the soul. Also ENFJ. Of course, I get annoyed with people and sometimes I dislike them but I try to befriend them and get to know them. ENFJ is motivated by intimacy and if you can manage to get to know the person, you literally can't dislike them. If you know someone's story, you know why. If you know why you can't judge.
@armandoc.3150
@armandoc.3150 4 жыл бұрын
@@flutenanyidk1806 No I hear you but that's why I specified just dont hate people. I do believe that every emotion is important to feel and not bottle up though because it can implode first then explode or explode then implode, either way terrible outcomes or unexpected outcomes if you dont agree with terrible. Hate in itself is not toxic but how it's used or expressed can be. For example hate towards people is not good but hate towards things is normal and should be expressed through things rather than people. It's also necessary for hate to exist because it can make way for love. Like you can hate everything someone does but you can love the person. Another way to see it is if you love your things as much as people hating those things can lead to hating people but I assume most enfjs arent materialistic as we know things have no value, people do. I'm being pretty general and simple rather than a deeper explanation because I believe you get the gist but if you need me to elaborate I can or if you dont agree then I'd love to hear your perspective from what I replied.

ENFJ: YESSS! I have been looking for a comment like this. I am a well-rounded person. I rely both on my heart and my mind equally. I am always neutral because I am able to look at both sides or perspectives. I am rarely insecure but I doubt my abilities if they "fail" in a situation. For example, if I "fail" a test which is usually getting 99/100 I, of course, am happy but I don't take time to appreciate myself and start calling myself dumb for missing one problem. I am bothered by that one mistake I made over and over again blinding me of my accomplishments.

I as an ENFJ I avoid my inner wisdom be keeping everything I do at a fast pace and pretending I do not notice that I sense others feelings or the general energy of the room, always in an energetic sense either trying to change the energy I experience or make myself notice the ways that the different energy is unmatched to mine. When I do find myself in an energetic match to a place, Idea, thing or a person I become perplexed, afraid to trust it - even more unfortunately, I am afraid to trust that my inner wisdom is truly recognising the authentic connection and thus resisting the natural flow-states that greet me all too often. A fear that my inner flow-state makes me appear extremely strange to others. Intuitively I know, for me, that once in a flow state there is no stopping it until its run its course. Releasing now that I avoid my inner wisdom of entering flow-state or alignment with myself more than any other thing in this world. For me alignment with my natural flow states last for months at a time, often causes me to adopt unorthodox habits as the process unfolds as I undergo some internal changes. For example, I spent a whole year sitting and sleeping on the floor, no matter where I was - in my room, at a friends house, eating my dinner or breakfast, I chose the floor. I eventually saw that my bed was taking up too much space and carried it in pieces to the garage where it stayed for an entire year and a half from early 2015 - late 2016. he Naturally I ended up reading, doing my studying and art on the floor. It was one of the most eye opening experiences, and deeply fulfilling probably due to its strange richness in perspectives that came out of it and caused me to focus inward more than I ever had before. My focus about what others thought of me greatly diminished because naturally I received a lot of confusion from other people and often times pressure to explain myself. In the beginning I tried to satisfy their questions, during which time, it was easy to see who was asking curiously with an open heart and who was poking at me with no intention to understand at all. In the end I found that there was nothing to explain, it was simply my flow, and that flow isn't to be questioned when its in motion only observed as the fluid relationship between internal and external experience. For a while, from the perspective of the ground, almost as if the air down there contained some 'flow-state solution' that made self-awareness actualise fully and simultaneously made the external world perceivable in an increasingly objective way as if I wasn't really there anyway. I have so much more about this experience to share and express: Those of you that want to learn more: Please go have a look into my blog: homeofthegreenspirit.wordpress.com/ Al the best wishes to you, leave comments and follow me on instagram>> You will find my Instagram name on my blog page. I love the car. I did your assessment few years ago and Antonia did both my car and my husband's car. He's INFJ and I'm ENFJ. So we both have harmony and perspectives both in our driver and copilots are the same, just switched. It also helped to look at the car as the drivers seat as my unconscious competence, the copilot as my conscious competence, the passenger behind the copilot represents my conscious competence and the passenger behind the driver represents my unconscious incompetence. Slow down when making decisions - that's a good one for me. I tend to go for my instant reaction. And yes - the sensation part where I get impatient and judgmental and over indulge in sensory pleasures. Thanks for the reminders.

For me marijuana can be stoooopidly beneficial. It really allows me to see unlimited perspectives. I can understand every single perspective and allows me to walk through life effortlessly. For example, it really allows me to think like “Hey, that person that’s doing a job is just a normal person doing a job. There’s no need to overthink social interaction, they’re probably just as anxious as me.” Or just like “Wow, everyone is just going through life in their own unique way. People perform actions just cause that’s what they’ve been taught, grew up doing, etc.” Even when I don’t relate or agree with someone’s actions I can effortlessly put myself into their perspective. In HS, I was the class clown and was friends with everyone. I could connect with and understand everyone. Even when someone is taking something too serious, their anger, their life, their personality, etc. just gets put into a perspective where is so easy to understand. This enlightenment happened when I started smoking weed from 14-19, it really peaked at 19 years old. Maybe it’s just coincidence, maybe my mind was just naturally growing and marijuana had no effect at all. (Again, perspectives making me self aware.) But my intuition tells me that marijuana really did aid in this growth.

I’m ENFJ and I don’t experience Se this way at all. I feel deeply connected to everything. Nature, my se is satisfying by being out in nature. Doing things, being, regenerating, gardening, animal husbandry. I’ve had curious moments about drugs or alcohol, but don’t like them because I’m such a forward planner, and if I consider picking up a drink, my mind immediately connects that to the sensation of a hangover, and I don’t have time to feel like that tomorrow, so I wouldn’t pick it up. Every thought process works like that. Time isn’t linear in my mind. I feel the outcomes of anything in advance. What this leads to, I already know and try to prevent that negative future outcome or manipulate the moment to have a good outcome later. I feel like that’s the core of our cognitive processes as ENFJ. And why we fight for what’s right with so much passion or often aggression despite being very kind and not wanting to upset people.

I because monkey minded and feel as though I have to consume every part of people's view points and ideas. I lose the sense of who I am and what my values and desire are in the long-term. To help myself, I meditate at least once a day for 10 minutes, then I make sure to read my Bible and go running. I have found, like you have spoken in the ENFJ podcast, that running for long periods of time (Like two to three hours) I get to a happy inward thinking and can become more creative and relaxed. I have been able to use workouts and fitness to help, but I have to make sure I get time alone to make sure I keep check of who I am. I still do not fully connect with the love language of the ENFJ though.

Loved this. You asked for examples of the Se hijacking: I don’t really experience the over indulgence of external pleasures (I think that’s because of an innate moral compass that has always been there). However, I totally see this a perpetual honey moon experience I have in everything from relationships to hobbies. I’ll get really excited about the prospects of a new friendship or interest, fall out of love with it because it’ll get boring and then look for a next “fix.” I tend to skip the Ni by not thinking through the long term of this new interest or laying out expectations and usually approach new interests with the monkey brain. I just attack the thing ravenously, getting all this data, then when the data bores me just move on. I totally think I have that third level “loop” you talk about in other podcasts where “I only do what I want to do.” It’s just harder to see in me because it looks like a series of obsessions instead of a “typical” addiction. The revelation you guys are giving me in all of this is sooooo helpful. Thank you!

While intuition and making deep connections is one of the ENTJ's greatest strengths, I think we default to sensation because exploring our intuitive side can be a dark and anxious process for us. As extroverts, we'd much rather focus on who or what is going on around us and since we can really be quite playful and fun its so tempting to stay comfortably in our ten year old selves. Overall that point was SO ACCURATE

thank uuu so much for this 💗 so helpful ✨ this is the video I've been looking for. I feel presented right. a lot of articles describe us based on behaviour only; which could be quite confusing at times. since, at my lowest points, I felt and acted differently. I've been trying to figure out whether I was just unhealthy or smth, but every time I search with the keyword "unhealthy enfj", the internet shows me answers like "they become really manipulative and controlling" most of the time. but the thing is, no. sometimes. but for the most part of it, I just shut down, rest, and look deep down. I start being less social and all that. I just don't want to be toxic to others so I instead become very toxic to myself and self-sacrifice (I would let others boss me around, etc, and I will join more activities and try to be of help, but it was really burdening) I had my parents to be my emotional support (in which I'm really grateful for) and that's it. I started watching mark manson vids and that really helped me have a broader perspective on things, also, my own experiences. but yeah, it's been tough. my se really took over during my "down" phase, well that's what I think. and probably, an unhealthy use of ti? idk but yeah things are pretty balanced now, i'm working on my fe tho (i just feel like I'm lax when it comes to helping others, esp this pandemic, I want to at the very least, engage more time on encouraging and inspiring others ✨ with what I can for now) but yeah, I'm new to this, so sorry if i said an inaccurate term. also, for my english, I'm not a native speaker. but yeah, thank uuu so much✨ I felt deeply understood in this video. thank you very very much for making this. I'm so glad and grateful for yt on recommending me this video, what a gem. 🙌✨💗

I remember posting this comment on an ENTJ video you posted Joel. When I posted the comment about a system I built called $.i.M was I talking about my perspective? Here is the comment I posted: +Joel Mark Witt Wow i am two systems in one, i realized that after listening to podcast 0061. Before i knew anything about MBTI i created a system called $.i.M, and i used the system for growth while working as a mechanic (INTP) for 5 years, after 5 years i bought property and managered it so i could learn the basics of managerment & test the $.i.M system. I wanted to see if the system i created would help me succeed. I didn't know it then but i merged two systems together, INTP (mechanic) and $.i.M, and now I am a mechanic (INTP) + manager ($.i.M), no wonder why i feel like an ambivert & confused about being an INTP or an ENTJ. To answer your question i am INTP, then again i am simply more than just an INTP.

When it comes to relationships I only focus on the here and now feeling the shiny object and once in the relationship after a while I notice the flaws that I would have seen sooner in regular ppl if I hadn’t been interested or I think I can overcome those flaws and it gets me emotionally tired not getting back what I put in. My ENTP friend has made me aware that this is when my extroverted sense comes out when I should use my intuition. With job I am able to read my bosses, target opportunities, put steps in motion in point A to get to point C but I have struggled always in relationships with this.

You don't change types. You may have just been initially incorrect thinking you were intj. The online tests are mostly all severely flawed. The best way to learn your type is to try to find really good descriptions of each type read them and try to see which one is objectively closest to you. Beware, though, most descriptions are anecdotal and completely wrong.

Great content for such a short video. I still struggle to determine if I am an INFJ or ENFJ but two things resonated with me on this video. The first was how the Se trips you up and keeps things on the surface level(especially in regards to relationships that are one-sided). I struggled a lot with that when I was younger and wish I would have know this in my 20's. The second was in regards to how ENFJ's communicate love. Although several of the questions sounded too" mushy" for me the one that truly resonated was the question, "am I safe with you?" That is a major filter for me that determines whether I will engage with someone on a prolonged level.

As an ENFJ, you are the most reclusive extrovert personality type there is. We often borderline the extrovert and introvert trait, causing the sometimes results of INFJ. There is no ambivert type yet to better understand ones self if resources are available, I would suggest go seek a mental health professional. Specifically a therapist that specializes in psychotherapy, the reality of a person goes much deeper and beyond the four traits in these tests, you must understand all aspects of your mind and how you have developed to adulthood through your childhood experiences to your current age now. I have become more educated than any articles could have ever allowed by meeting regularly with a therapist to really understand my own mind, life, and decisions I make and have made. This will also allow you to become more effective when communicating with other personality types as well.

But as soon as I turn off the music etc my brain naturally wants to start figuring out what I was trying to avoid. I swear I'm like a hybrid of ENFJ and INFP. I've tried watching different videos and reading descriptions and every time it's half and half. I wish I knew which one I was. 1 no such think as hybrids well there is ... but they are usually in Insane asylums due to have 2more personalities.(muli personality dissorder) but u are an INFP cuz my friend had the same problem she thought she was ENFJ but she not. the reason why you get confued is cus ENFJs are saying everything you are thinking. plus and enfj would never think they are INFP but an INFP would posibly think they are ENFJ. hope this helps :3
@carnationsensation
@carnationsensation 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks, it sorta helps but sorta doesn't. The part "ENFJs are saying everything you are thinking" doesn't match up with me because I'm incredibly social + incredibly open. I'm not private at all and i tend to say what's on my mind and be very honest. And any problems I have or things I'm going through, I tend to tell at least 2 or 3 friends. It's hard for me to keep my feelings and thoughts to myself. i wanna think I'm INFP based on descriptions of them, but then the whole "introverted + very private" doesn't match up with me because I'm kinda opposite to that, and I'm kinda extroverted. But then ENFJ doesn't completely match either because ENFJs are "charismatic persuaders and teachers" which I'm not sure if that's me. ...In your opinion, is it possible that I'm an INFP who became or learned to be extroverted and highly social?? Like I've had friends literally call me a "NETWORK" because I know so many people and have so many friends and acquaintances.
@RazzoAratey
@RazzoAratey 7 жыл бұрын
Uniquely Heather Holly YES ! okay let me explain something to u just cuz your an Introvert doesn't AUTOMATICALLY make you shy and timid and not expressive that's just a stereotype, i my self am an extrovert and can be very private at times. Being an introvert is u take in more than u put out and even that isn't true all the time . but what you are telling me definitely makes me certain that you are INFP. Take it from this ENFJ i have always felt like a teacher if you don't then u definitely are not one. Which makes u INFP :3 hope that helps

No one in a youtube comment section is going to accurately be able to tell you what type you are. Best thing to do is research them both more and look into the cognitive functions, perhaps looking at other xNFx types as well. INFP and ENFJ don't share any functions so it should be pretty clear to you which ones you prefer. INFPs generally do not like talking about their feelings (Introverted Feeling) whereas ENFJs do like talking about their feelings as well as other peoples (Extroverted Feeling). INFPs use Extroverted Intuition, which looks at all the possibilities and often use this function in a creative sense (art, music, etc). ENFJs use introverted intuition, they have long term plans with contingencies set up. In general, INFPs are indecisive and often can't choose which of several options they prefer. ENFJs by contrast are very decisive (my sister for instance has said she was going to be a dr from age 4 and is currently in medschool age 23). INFPs use introverted sensing, so they'll often be (perhaps overly) concerned with their health, need time and space alone to centre themselves and have a number of pet comforts they often fall back to in times of stress. ENFJs with extroverted sensing prefer being in the here and now, actively doing things and in times of stress will perhaps over indulge in sensory pleasure (drinking, sexing, etc.). I'm not comfortable enough discussing the thinking functions of ENFJ and INFP but I'm sure there are good resources out there that can help you on your way.

Interesting...so I am an ENFJ? I Took the test on personality hacker site and another site and came out as an INTP. I assume the reason why is because I am sensitive and there are a lot of times I want to be in a space with lots of tech & no humans. What I am really focus on is on the subject of growth & absorbing other peoples emotions because that has happened to me 4 times. 1st time was with a cheerleader I fell in love with who was the captain of her cheerleading team. I felt "fear" "love" and "sweetness" coming from her when I looked into her eyes which looked like two projector lights. The thing is she was 15ft away from me at that time when she "projected" those emotions. In my head fear, love & sweetness quickly flashed in my head one after the other, so I felt it then saw it in my head. During our "intimate" emotional connection the 15 students who were around me disappeared and my perception of time slowed down like how a computer slows down when it is processing a lot of information....3 seconds felt like 13 minutes. Perception of time slows down for kids because their brain is developing and processing lots of information that is why everything takes forever. Perception of time for adults tends to speed up because their brain is already developed, that is why adults say "life is too short." For me during that moment my perception of time slowed down at an increased rate because new "emotional" information was being processed. 2nd "intimate" connection was with a psychopath teacher with low self esteem. From her I felt a feeling "associated" with white noise. In my head I saw a CRT tv that was on a channel with static noise, I later deduced that meant "cognitive dysfunction." She was attractive but she was a raging bitch and had low self esteem. 3rd incident was an "empath" connection because he was a man like me, but he was a gay male supressing his emotions in a mechanic shop full of guys who think they are tough but are really cowards. Once, while next to him I felt an impulse to smile and since that was my first time I acted on the impulse and smiled then quickly stopped myself because it was not my "intention" and it was so sudden. I assumed he was gay and had a thing for me because he was acting nervous around me and secretly taking pictures of me on his phone with the shutter sound turned on...what straight guy does that? Nothing was going to happen because I am straight and to be honest it felt uncomfortable. I am ok connecting with the girls but not some dude. TRUTH is nature and it does have rules: people of the same sex can't be intimate even if one is gay. Intimate connection = feelings to thoughts. Empath connection = feelings to action or an impulse to act. After my 4th connection I couldn't connect with anyone like I did in the past, so how do I connect at that level again? Is it a matter of opening my heart? Was the cheerleader my soulmate because it felt like she was.

+foday S tests are usually very inaccurate. in my experience most of my friends get inaccurate results. the best thing to do is just learn the functions and look up youtube info gather and figure it out that way. you sound like feeling dominant user but thats just off stereotyping. only you can answer these questions about "love". ENFJs do seem to try and use other people as "brains" because they cant seem to think for themselves. try not to do that, you can figure things out yourself. this is a personal growth channel =] my best advice is to just keep meeting new people. you will have unique relationships with everyone. dont try and get the "same thing". your chemistry will be different with everyone.

I can say however, the ways an enfj ask if or let know they love someone is a lot more true then infp's did,. i have a lot to think about now. been working on myself, thinking i am an infp for a while, and now im so confused.
