I do think Blizzard is making a huge mistake not supporting GSL. It has so much value and quality. All the players, Tasteless, State, and the production is top knotch. It's a great show and it belongs as KZbin content. KZbin themselves should give Afreeca more leeway for GSL. They've more than earned it. It's not like everyone can afford to go to Korea to see it. GSL is amazing!👍

Hugely satisfying group A round of 8. I definitely thought both Terrans were going through but Solar deserved it more because his defense was just too solid. I don’t understand the level of his balancing drones vs army and impeccable positioning. Gumiho is so creative, I was wondering if he already had the proxy BC build planned ahead or if he did it on the fly because he judged his defensive position solid enough…

It is pretty difficult to knock Dark out early. I'm pretty sure he is more consistent than Maru in getting to Ro4. Maru does occasionally drop out early, especially in foreign tourneys. Just that when Maru doesn't get knocked out early, he tends to win the entire thing.

The game is so fcking sad right now. Terran is so broken, that a Zerg or Protoss has to play multiple tiers above the Terran just to equalize. My game designer soul is crying with how unbalanced this race is. Terran is a pure cheat in this game that requires abysmal skills to compete with a Zerg or Protoss. A ZvT or PvT is like watching a 60kg high schooler fight against a 2m 120kg behemoth in the ring. The high schooler needs to be vastly superior in technique, while having trained his body to absolute perfection, reaching the limits of every single muscle fiber in his body, just to compensate for the base physical differences. Glad we got one such champ in this group. Hopefully we'll get Dark vs Classic in the finals.

The nerf to banelings and something like the 3rd or 4th nerf to fungal was uncalled for. Over the years they've nerfed nearly every Zerg unit in the arsenal just to accommodate marine/medivac use. Yet the marine has never suffered a nerf. To be fair I was a bit unimpressed with Solar's creep spread. It was just terrible. He was left alone by cure on the top side of the map and yet he had 0 creep tumors up there. Why he failed to spread tumors anywhere just confused me.

What? Nearly every Zerg unit has been nerfed to accommodate marine use and the marine/medivac has never suffered a nerf. Every unit in the zerg arsenal has been getting damage nerfs, speed nerfs, hp nerfs, nerfs to queens, nerfs to brood lords, nerfs to creep, and something like the 3rd or 4th nerf to fungal now. All so Terrans can parade marines for the increasingly brainless iWiN button it has become. Oh no they changed the cyclone??
