It amazes me that Kep1er still has to make their own variety shows, It's sad, really, what did they do to be blackballed by the Korean Media. JTBC allows all Idol groups to be on their shows, same with SBS. Hell, even MBC doesn't allow them on their TV shows and they're the freaking owners. (only allows them on MBC radio). I don't remember this happening to IZONE, They were on Knowing Bros. Running Man ect... Our Girls are multi-talented, extremely funny, seasoned, and beautiful. They've won multiple music shows and have multiple ROTY Awards. Kep1er deserves so much more. I just don't get it...would someone try to explain this one to me.

The one that decide the appearance on variety show are the PD-nim of show..if you comparing with IZ*ONE, that definitely different era..Kep1er are in girlgroup booming era, so it was not easy to gaining attention from general public

MBC doesn't own Kep1er if that's what you meant. Besides, you have to pay to go on those shows. WakeOne has probably decided to promote the group on their own so they can have less expenses and be more profitable. Also, what the other poster said was true and I'm glad someone finally said it. There's an explosion of girl groups right now. Add that to the success of IZ*ONE's spinoff groups/soloists and Kep1er has far greater competition than IZ*ONE did. Yet, don't get discouraged... Kep1er still sold more albums in their first year than IZ*ONE. But, the field is indeed crowded these days!

Bottom line is that Korean variety shows such as Knowing Bros, Running Man etc. only invite the most popular actors/actresses and or idols to participate unless it was in their earlier days when they invite some members of rookie groups to participate. Chaehyun and Xiaoting were at least invited to participate on the Choseuk edition of Knowing Bros (it would be nice to invite the whole team) I believe in 2023. And I do not think you can compare Kep1er and iz*one (or even ioi) because iz*one and ioi were way more popular and known and supported with the kpop community and Korean entertainment industry than Kep1er.
