imo the s2k is very overacted, a nice ek9, eg6, ep3, dc2, dc5 etc are all faster than a s2k, i've seen and felt many times so

MrStamford78 NSX R is the best among the Honda Type R cars . But speaking only about the FF cars the FD2 is the fastest Type R in stock condition. But I personally like the DC2 the most (EK9 second), because of its potential thanks to double wishbone suspension, light chassis and possibility for K20 swap. In the EU the best Type R ever sold is definitely the DC2, no question about it. Far more aggresive setup and driving fun, 99% similar specs to JDM DC2, compared to other EU Type R's, the EP3 and the FN2. I'm really curious about the new Civic Type R 2015 how it's gonna turn out.

I have a mint cosmic grey ep3 with fast road setup, tegiwa intake,and buddy club pro spec. Looking to get the k 100 remap in the summer. Love it to bits best car I have ever had. Really want a Mugen RR lol. Gutted the new civic is turbo'd, takes away the heritage and tradition of the type r name but that is down to the new emissions regulations. Wouldn't the mugen rr beat the new civic to 100 mph?

It really comes down to power to weight ratio. It should be a very close match if the P.W.R is not much different. Let's wait for the official specs.

Claudio Pasho 1. Don't want to mix up different topics on my channel 2. Don't have appropriate capturing hw for ps3 and my pc is too slow for that 3. I don't even remember when was the last time I played gran turismo on ps3, cause I prefer the real thing now. Maybe in the future the virtual reality project Morpheus + GT7 will hook me up once again.

the cars arent always in the same class but thats just another way for them to evaluate the cars and show how good they can be overall and thats what i appreciate the most from these guys, their mentality is so different then here in the U.S

Yeah the EP3 and DC5 have flawed suspension geometry, corrected in FD2 / FA5 models but still not as good as the double-wishbone "olden days"... Funny they don't mention this! ;) :)

dont be too serious watching these videos, such a setup show for spoon. i am sure the tires size are different although it is the same type, but with smaller tire and smaller engine, of coz old ek9 is slower. same engine same tire size, old chassis always win. i feel like the newer chassis always better is such a scam over there, lol

the ek is still better car. hands down. my b18c itb ek9 would shit on the ep3 and dc5. don't get me wrong I love thoughs cars but the ek is king!!!
