[ENG] This guide is tested on the Proton X50 Executive (ver: 618 v1) and should work on other variants as long as they have ATLAS version 617/618 v1. If you're using GKUI, please refer to this link: github.com/xeo...
The entire installation process should take approximately 10-20 minutes, and some portions of the video may be sped up. Below are some takeaways:
1) Decent usable user experience after sideloading, not that laggy as people mentioned.
2) Cannot connect to Google services and Waze accounts.
3) Sound quality feels improved, especially on Spotify (highest setting), compared to Bluetooth/QDLink.
4) Back button is incredibly convenient!
5) Android Auto/Apple Carplay seems to be working fine, TBT (to be tested).
6) If you're using Apple Carplay, you'll need a Carlink Kit for Autokit 2022.
7) QDLink will be disabled as it conflicts with Wired Android Auto.
8) It's recommended to disable all app notifications, as they might spam your notification bar.
9) To stay on the safe side, please uninstall all previous sideloads before proceeding to upgrade from GKUI to ATLAS.
10) Try not to use a USB Pendrive larger than 32GB, to be able to format to FAT32.

ACO patched it in latest Firmware version. If you updated to ATLAS version 617 / 618 from 2-Mar-2023 onwards, most probably this won't works for you. There are no way to install app at the moment. may I know is this true?

There are scripts for both GKUI/ATLAS, just need a carlinkit to enable Apple Carplay, u can choose either platform with their respective scripts

In that stage, no need to touch anything, if over 10mins nothing happen, can check if USB pendrive file structure is correct, change a new usb pendrive, or confirm if you’re on compatible firmware

I prefer ATLAS UI more, but GKUI offers higher flexibility. Quoted from author: “GKUI -> great compatibility but ACO seems discontinuing cloud service. If that's not a concern, stick to this ATLAS -> new car (>Sept 2022) came with this OS, so no choice for a lot of new driver. Limited compatibility. Take note that above script for ATLAS and script of GKUI is in another repository, Please select the script based on system version.”

After installation meaning after optimising apps? Please do refer to the troubleshooting measures in my comments below. I have also heard mostly failed updates to Atlas 617/618 after March since Acotech patched the firmware, not sure if that applies to you as well.
