Dreamcatcher's first win really felt like a real win, the hashtag #Dreamcatcher1stWin stayed trending for days on twitter, seems like everyone celebrated it, other fandoms also voted for dc, dcc staff cried, insomnias cried, even the music show staff cried. Multiple sites released articles/news about their win as if it was such a big deal. And it WAS a big deal. Why? Because deep down, everybody knows Dreamcatcher should've gotten that win since they debuted with Chase Me. Probably the only girlgroup in 2017 kpop era who were bold enough to make a re-debut with niche concept, niche genre, outstanding choreography and showmanship. They were a revolution back then, they changed the game in kpop industry, they stood up like a sore thumb among hundreds other groups. Even five years into their career, DCC staff and the genius producers LEEZ and Ollounder still managed to make them stay different. They always goes against the trend, because they set the tide. They propelled themselves to greater heights even BEFORE they got that win!

You know what, Dami has to be the strongest, she calls the members to hug together, she holds the trophy and keep staring at it. But when she realizes that it's all ok, they won, she can cry now. The end was touching, because she has feelings, but she needed to stay focused and after that, cry out of joy. I love them so freaking much

I’m not even trying to be biased, but they are seriously one of the groups who deserved this win for so so long. I know this meant a lot for all the girls, but it means even more especially for our girls who were in Minx, I mean they were in a group that had to disband after a year because they were pretty unsuccessful, they had so many hopes of becoming big and for it not to happen, I can’t even imagine how that must’ve felt. But yet they didn’t give up and tried again, even as Dreamcatcher debuted, they weren’t that big either, but slowly they got more recognition and fans…but, I know throughout the years they were losing confidence especially after getting nominated multiple times for 1st place and end up losing every time, I mean they were already expecting to lose again! But after these 2 wins I know these girls gained so much confidence. From now on I want them, and other people to see that they aren’t just a “group” but they are truly Dreamcatcher. I’m so unbelievably proud of them and how far they have come, they are more successful, they’ve grown as a group and grown individually and that itself is a lot to be happy for, although they’ve been together for 5 years, I see this as the beginning for many more things to come, Dreamcatcher I’ll always be rooting and cheering you on no matter what. Here’s to many more!

I have never been emotionally attached to a group before. I have been stanning them for a year and the bond that they have with each other and InSomnia is something that can not be described through words. Something about the music, vocal flows and switchups. I love so many songs already.. I feel like my favorite is going to change often the more I listen. I've listened to Apocalypse, Lose Myself, and Tree of Language so far and it seems like you could pick just about any song and make it a great title track lol. I was super impressed with all of the solo songs on Apocalypse. It felt like a great introduction to the group. I also LOVE Siyeons 'Paradise'!

I’m not an InSomnia, I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of any group or artist to be honest. K-pop or otherwise. I just like music really much. But, I did get some recommendations from InSomnia on what songs to listen so I did. Which made me watch some shows Dreamcatcher appeared in so I could get to know them better. I have to say, from everything I’ve seen they just seem like such genuine and fun people and I honestly believe that they truly deserved this win and more wins in the future. They have a very unique style that’s really out there for K-pop, especially girl groups and I personally really enjoy it. I hope the find more success in the future. They really deserve it.

Dreamcatcher really bring rock to the kpop industry 🤧 😤 because of them companies are incorporating rock to music or try rock genre because THEY consistently doing it and gain fans and Companies now know international fans like rock or metal genre. I am so happy with Dreamcatcher winning music show while staying true to themself which is doing rock or metal sound and dark horror concept. Dreamcatcher just make their own genres even if most of the fandom being ignorant and the industry "expert" ignore their credibility or existence. I've only Stan three different groups; the first two definitely were amazing and talented but definitely had the backing and resources of big companies. Which is why 드림캐쳐 will most likely be the one and only that will hit me the hardest emotionally. They've definitely defied the odds with their groundbreaking musical style and never give up approach even though they came from a smaller company. Each time I watch their 1st winning speech and Encore, I tear up. And watching this just made the the floodgates open from my eyes. They deserved this win and many more to come. And this is just the beginning of it. Why? BEcause they're DREAMCATCHER.
