I made my first ever polymer clay doll this week (a mermaid) and was so surprised to see I could do it! Then yesterday I made my second ever doll, with a proper face, following your technique! She isn't as pretty as yours, but she is wonderful and I love her quirky little character showing through! Thank you again! Also, can I ask, I see that you use Fimo Soft for your faces; do you also use it for the hair, body, clothing etc? I've been disappointed when I've used it for caning & jewellery work in the past, but maybe I should give it another go, as I'm not sure the Premo I'm using has the flexibility I want for dolls.

Rita Holmes I think you can easily find items at home that can replace the tools.. For example I use a toothpick, back of spoon, pencil.. etc.

It's just a method. I make doll faces in this way and I shared it, but you can do it in any way you wish. Painting the face is a good method too, of course 😊 Thanks for your comment ❤
