By the end of this survival, i wish for Sunghoon to be acknowledged for being as talented as his face and isnt just there for his visuals. Come on, mans didnt train secretly under bighit for 2 years while still training and competing on figure skating competitions just to be seen as visual. Bc seriously, he has amazing facial expressions, a powerful aura that draws you to him even though he aint center, is very likable and adorable, an amazing dancer, and his sweet minty vocals are yet to be explored deeper. I do think he's really underrated in terms of talent. People usually mention his visuals first and the most, which yes he's really good looking, but fail to talk about his stages. The boy is a natural on stage, he's sooo good ! Dark horse indeed, in Fire he was 3rd, after that he was put in the dance rep performance and did amazing, then in I&credible he was 2nd. He's been both consistently at the top, and consistently rising in ranks. I hope his talents will get recognized in part 2. I think the title "strong competitor on mute" was related to this : he's had strong stages the whole show and improved a lot too, but since he's a quiet and unproblematic guy, he's being overlooked. In part 1 he went unnoticed without the really strong personality (Jay, K), the mnet editing (Jungwon, Jay, Heesung, K) or original recognition (Heesung) the other members in Top 6 have, apart from Jake (his situation is different from Sunghoon's : he isn't appreciated in terms of talents and potential like the other top6, even though his training time is so small compared to theirs and his improvments were great throughout the show).
