Only scene thats worse is when she came home after spending the night with the boys and DH pulled the betrayed husband stick. 😂 I think DH remembered her from the start and to him thats still his wife. He literally tells FJ she is his wife when she was mentally impaired. Thats still Xuanren trying to get with his wife but with a pokerface. But also the coat scene. You symbolically cloak a bride to put her under her husband's protection. He cloaked her while he protected her from the fire breathing beast. He was being her husband and thats symbolic for "you are still my wife". DH "do you have a problem with...*being my wife*....my clothes". FJ "I don't want your coat". They are not talking about the coat but what it represents. So from DH's pov of course he tries to move in with her and into her bed. He is her husband and his place is by her side. And that ward is him protecting his wife. He is just trying to work on his marriage. But she thinks "till death do us part, you died, I'm out, I don't know you, don't remember you nor care, and no you are not getting into my bed and if you kiss me I will bite you". So in that light, the other guys hitting on her is actually FJ emotionally cheating on her husband in front of him. So in this scene Yan is openly saying he lived with DH's wife and she knows what he likes...TO HER HUSBANDS FACE. DH is internally going..😤🤬. Thats not them needling DH anymore thats them emotionally kicking him in the nuts. He then confronts his wife about it in a veiled pissed off way "you seem to know what he likes". Like saying.."please elaborate and explain yourself,I deserve to know more details what you 2 were up to while I wasn't there". She doesn't realise why thats upsetting DH and responds with an innocent "you tasted my fish right?". Its not about the cakes...Xuanren tasted the cakes as well....its about his wife pleasing another man and doing so openly to his face. He is sitting there going "pokerface don't fail me now...f-ing zen...just breath" while they are emotionally kicking him in the nuts over and over again. And the fact that he asked her...he is so not ok with this. The pokerface slipped. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 It's why he asked for that potion. He is trying to work on his marriage but if he can't get her back he wants to forget about being Xuanren. This is killing him but he hides it well. 💪👍👏 But she isn't going easy on him. Man he has a crappy marriage. First she steps out on him with Qingty. Then he gets to watch his wife go on blind dates in front of him. Then she hangs out with the guys all night....Yan who she is emotionally intimate with and Meng who is in love with her. Then Moye tells her to find a better man and asked her what she is looking for in a man...in front of her husband. And his shadow moved into her house,sends her touching letters, tells her he loves her and hugs her in front of him. He really worked HARD to get all these guys away from his wife while he worked on his marriage.

He was trying to mark his territory cause guys were trying to date her. He cloaked the bride when he protected her from the fire breathing beast. He moved into her house in the valley. These are public statements. He wanted her to call him husband....she didn't want to. And in the dream he wanted to call her wifey/honey....she did not want him to. He wants to live with her....she wasn't on board. And when they slept together he was very happy about the purple cakes. He was like "yeah tell the world we had s$x....especially shen ye".👍😃 From the very beginning he is just going "can you PLEASE just acknowledge I'm your husband so that the other dudes know it as well". Not just as DH but as Xuanren as well. Its why he was so fast with the titles and moving her into the palace. He was basically going "this one is mine,back off". He visited her the day she moved in. Too excited. And the empress ceremony was meant as their wedding ceremony. He just wants to make it official publicly. He wants her to be his wife in being not just in title. 🤣😂🤣😂 And she is basically going "no dude, can't tie this puppy down, bye". Like si ming said "admiration is one thing, getting her to marry you is something else". FJ is to DH...as DH was to those goddesses throwing themselves at him....she has plenty of options and isn't interested. Well she was but he f-ed it up but he doesn't know that so. Even after she married him...she ran again...no public wedding either. 🤣😂🤣😂 He must be really happy with gungun. She had his kid, tying herself to him and that kid is one giant "we had s£x!". Happy DH.🤣😂🤣😂 Xuanren finally got what he wanted. I think he remembered after the dream. He knew si mings report didn't match his memory, he recognised the dagger and he wanted to know about the girl. As Xuanren he already knew she was a fairy. But with DH's knowledge he must have put 2+2 together and realised the fairy was suffering from backfire. He knew she wasn't dead but probably some fairy who messed with him as a human (I think he misunderstood her intend untill lian song told him the truth....like xuanren he doubted her love for him thats all). But he never stopped loving her. When he went to the wedding he heard si ming talking about a princess with the same name. He opened his eyes when he mentioned she went to the mortal realm at the same time he did...yeah that's your girl. She lost someone and has a tendency to run out on engagements by wrecking the place. It was si ming trying to tell DH the truth without telling him the truth. If he didn't already know then he recognised her the second he saw her, cause he couldn't look her in the face. That wasn't indifference cause he wasn't even social. He was cold...cause he COULDN'T look at her without losing his pokerface. She got under his skin. The 1 woman he loved, it depressed him to lose her and there she was again. It was like shen ye looking at FJ thinking it was Aranya after her death....yes hiding his feelings but he loved her. But her pretending that they didn't happen and she doesn't know him hurt his feelings. 😢 I think DH has a pokerface to hide his inner Xuanren. But with FJ you see Xuanren pop out again cause with her he is save and can be himself again. With her he can let Xuanren out. That poor little sweet cinnamon role. 😍 (they seriously need to make a pouting emoticon).
