Shotaro is already a professional dancer even before he became an SM trainee. If I’m not mistaken, he was also a back-up dancer for Gackt (famous Japanese singer), and he joined many international dance competitions before debut. Shotaro is also a big fan of NCT even before he became an SM trainee. He actually saw NCT 127’s concert in Japan and from then on, he aspired to become a K-pop idol just like them. Lucky for him, he debut in NCT and became part of his favorite K-pop group. Talk about a successful NCTzen. He’s definitely one of NCT’s main dancers along with Ten, Taeyong, and Jisung.

쇼타로 춤은… 동작이 크면서도 매우 가볍다 손끝 발끝까지 동작이 정확하다 장악력이 있어서 센터에 섰을때 안정감있다 몸의 비율이 좋아서 춤선이 느낌있고 이쁘다

He is a professional dancer. I think Taro has foundation in locking,house dance,hip pop,jazz etc. He was the top student in a popular and competitive dance institute then got scouted by SM and debuted within 3 months or so

The reason Shotaro looked like a professional when he debuted is because he already was. Before joining SM, he was already a professional dancer in Japan. It's so satisfying to see him performing on stage. It's like he was born to do it!

In whole ,every NCT member is really really good dancer individually. But TEN, TAEYONG and SHOTARO are best dancers in NCT with their own groove and style. Shotaro's attractive point is that he dances such hard choreo with gentle expresions without showing any tension in body showing relaxed facial expressions. That's why his fancams gets a lot of views. Among 4th gen k-pop, he is at top in dancing.

Yes Jisung too. He is not showing much of himself these days because he is in a slump....he said that laughing in an interview or something? recently...if you look at the drone view of was it glitch mode? Or Arcade I forgot but he looked the most clean and sharp, not flapping his long arms and legs ,usually for tall people its kind of difficult to show some moves swiftly as short people which is also the reason why short people in general are some of the best dancers (doesn't mean long people are not) but despite being long he makes best use of his muscle strength,control. He just needs to recover his confidence back ,he is only 20 I can't wait to see what wonder he will do later on

@@zitoma3244 id have to disagree. It’s true he definitely has better technique but the gap is not as wide as you think. Shotaro has a solid foundation in hip-hop while ten is still developing his technique in both hiphop and contemporary.

My fav. dancer in NCT is TEN and Shotaro. I want these two dance collab in my life T_T SM!!! Ten has his very unique style that I really appreciated. You can see the mix of contemporary in his dance that makes his dance look detailed, elegant, and stunning. Shotaro totally ate street hip-hop. I love how clean, powerful, and swag he is. His body control is always on point. When he performed, his face is smiled but his body is on fire hahahahaha
