Hui spent over 10 minutes, truly taking his time, slowly explaining all the details behind ‘Basquiat’. As he emphasized, there was a really strong message that he wanted to express through the song. It seemed that he really wanted Universe to know all the details behind the inspiration, writing and creative process, and the cute stories in between- so I tried my best to translate it into English.

i know it's been a while since Basquiat was released but this talk was so sincere and comforting Im graduating this year and started interning. looks elite, but i never knew if it was something i wanted or I was just living up to others expectations now hearing this talk I really feel that someone actually understands this feeling (and actually was so talented to write it into a song) I guess its just how Pentagon's music works :) they have magic :)

I have been a casual listener of ptg, and didn't really get to know them that much except for their interactions with my ult group, but for some reason (thank you universe, pun intended), yt recommended the Basquiat perf video to me and I got sooooo disappointed with myself for not having known this masterpiece! The entire song was so good in and by itself, but their perf video and even more, the live stage, was just so freaking good, I always get chills. I was already starting to listen to more of their songs (I love Daisy a lot! And Hui and Kino kept pulling me in lol) but Basquiat made me stan them. Now I'm a baby uni, and day by day, I just get more amazed with their talents.
