Okay so like, I never thought a anime would change my view on something I did. So story time; in middle school I played volleyball, I was good at practice but I would get really anxious and freeze up when in the court,long story short I froze up on our first game and lost.I didn’t jump to block the spikes,I didn’t dive to get the ball,,I was scared. I felt really stupid and annoyed at myself,,,so I dropped volleyball. But there was this one episode in s1 where daichi meets his friend from middle school and beats him on a match,, he reminds me of how I was on my first match,,,but I lacked something,,,something that he said,,, he was thankful he got to stay for just one game,, so here I am, practicing everyday that I can ,,I am not letting go of my dream,, not again.

I'm gonna tell you too a little story. Back in High school, 7 years ago, I too played volleyball. I was such a newbie and people in my team were way professionals and went to the nationals and stuff. It was hard to be the one who learned all of this alone, but volleyball is a kinda great sport. Then I became the setter of the team. During my first match, I was sooo nervous and anxious that I couldn't even serve properely. I was worse than Yamaguchi during his first match. XD Then we lost. I was sad and disappointed in myself, but like Oikawa said, we can work on ourselves to improve everyday. Unfortunately, we didn't go to the nationals because of some intern problems. And The last year, when I was captain, we played with national level teams and it was soo great! But unfortunately, when I entered university, I stopped VB. I always wanted to play, but the fact is I was afraid to not meet some new teams' expectations, so I stopped it. Now, four years latter, I'm regretting it. All I want is one last match, one occasion to play VB and to give it my everything. So I'm searching for some teams nearby to play, but I lost my skills. XD. It's been 4 years. I'm still afraid but haikyuu showed me that there's no reason to be afraid of failure and stuff. We just have to keep going and to improve, and to have fun while playing. So don't give up. And I hope you'll be a great VB player!
