I think Jieun's voice really naturally suits those lower songs, and its hard for her to show herself when majority of girl group songs are high. Like the advice Moonbyul gave them in her studio moon night, she doesnt need to change her voice to fit in, her voice is her charm and she needs to protect her charm since they are in this for the long run. I know that their CEO once said something to the effect that when they were forming up Mamamoo one thing he wanted was a group that played well together and he didn't mean musically he meant that they had fun together.
