Hongbin literally said ""He's handsome, but [...]", I don't want to hear that." when he was told "You're handsome, but *why can't you sing?*". It's from the same scene in which the latin comment came from. Just because he's a visual doesn't mean that he doesn't want to be recognised for his talents; he practices just as hard as everyone else. From the context of it all he was definitely embarrassed because his looks was the thing being brought up during his *singing evalutation*.

First of all Antonio Banderas isn't from Chile or Mexico, he's from south Spain; second to say that looking like a Latin person is embarrasing it's an insult for the latin countries (Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and Romania) and for all the central and south American countries. I understand this was before they wanted to get on the hallyu wave and appeal to international fans, but that isn't an excuse for "racism" and nowadays they always ditch N for his dark skin, don't they realize that many of their international fans have tan or dark skin tones? I don't care if they are just jokes, N is bleaching his skin and has said many times that he is embarrassed of his dark skin, the pain is still there.

hongbin wasnt embarrassed because of he looked like a latin lol. he was embarrassed because they were telling him how good looking he is (when he has already emphasized before that he doesnt want to hear comments solely about his looks. he wanted to be recognized for his abilities not his appearance.) thats why he got embarrassed.
