After overdosing on romance dramas, this drama opened my eyes to the real potential kdramas there are out there! The flavour reminds me of X files, Mulder and Scully as a couple resemble simok and yeojin! Will be a fan of this new drama couple forever 💕

Ikr, since I binge to watch kdrama, I only often watch western drama like black mirror or narcos etc. if you go further to watch kdrama, there are a lot non romantic drama which worthy to watch. I recommend you to watch “the lies within” you won’t be disappointed.

This is a good series. I watched season 1 and 2 2x already. The role of Cho seung woo is difficult - like what he said, it's impossible for a person to not have emotions - but he did well in this series.

Seo Dong Jae is the funniest for me because even though he is supposedly evil he is such a busybody and so cunning that i liked him more at towards the end

I liked that the questions host presented, they dint ask any personal questions, all of them were work related, in India people pry on personal things, and women are asked only beauty related questions, this interview was quite refreshing

7:39 It's not that she always chooses the dramas that tend to have high ratings. I think all good actors have to check the story, the script and the co-workers (actors, actresses, the directors and even the writers). After choosing the interesting role, the most importance is that they always do their best on their parts and even encourage other people's parts. That's why it's perfect. Shin Hye Sun is one of that type. She always do her best to interpret and portray her roles even it's some minor/supporting roles. Hope that the MCs won't ask this question to any actor/actress in the future. The meaning behind this question is that they didn't do anything and no need to put that much effort, they just have the good sense for choosing the roles and boom!...the dramas have high ratings. No. It's not about one's sense. It's teamworks and their efforts.

In the end when asking fans to watch the show Cho Seung Woo says something like after may what has been happening in the country many people will be pleased while watching the show. I understand he is drawing a parallel between the show and what was happening in the time in South Korea. Can anyone throw some light on what he is talking about? What is the context? Thanks

In March of 2017, Park Geun-hye, the then President of South Korea was impeached. That's probably what he was referring to. Park was then found guilty of abuse of power and coercion in 2018. You can look it up to learn more about the details. :)

It’s so interesting to see people so impacted by this , and feel so strongly about it. Guess drama resonated with what happened in real life. So I just read this... but apparently CSW asked his co-star from 'God's Gift: 14 days' drama back in the day (the co-star also being an idol) about IU. Probably was just curious/had heard great things about IU (as one usually does :)) I think that's when it started that he is a fan/stan etc

Actually CSW has been a fan of IU for a long time, apparently since (maybe before) 2012. When IU and Jo Jung Suk were co-star in the drama "The best Lee Soon Shin" that year, CSW texted JJS jokingly, asked him something like "Is there anything going on between you and IU?". He's known to be an IU fan back then.
