As much as I love Mawin... WHY DID HE HAVE TO INTERRUPT AYLIN WHEN SHE WAS TALKING??! I mean... She finally pours her heart out, trusts her friends, let's her emotions and words out...and he just interrupts her in the middle of her speech!! I'm stunned. I get that he may have felt the same way, but this was Aylin's moment of vulnerability and sharing. He should have at least waited for her to stop talking and only then share his opinion and support.

FRR, this is only my opinion but i feel like sometimes they give too much screentimes/attentions for the side characters?? I feel like sometimes they give too much focus to Ton and Mawin(esp Ton) when Aylin and Luna are actually the one who need it more😩 I get that 12 eps is not enough to do EVERY single characters justice but still😭

OMG EXACTLY. I mean, I heard the whole section felt like a let down, especially since it's quite clear to us that Aylin is autistic, literally every autistic viewer relates and understands Aylin. It could have been a bigger lesson and a more heartful and unique moment. Mot even that, what shocked me the most was when MAWIN JUST STRAIGHT UP INTERRUPTED HER LIKE WTH??? Even Ton as well? Not to mention nothing from Luna??? That felt modt out of character. The first we actually see of her is when she boldly puts out a speaker for the club promotion, her personality definitely isn't staying quiet like that, especially with Aulin like what??? In fact, she's been a bit out of character for a couple of episodes now. Sorry, that's another rant; Since the beginning, the show talked about Alyin and Alien and made us wonder why she was that way (other than her being autistic ofc) qns whwn we FINALLY got to the moment... JUST WHEN SHE WAS GOING TO SAY THE MAIN PART mawin cuts in. Full stop. Like, wtaf? The later half of this show was already butchered af but what the hell was that!? How come no one else pointed that out as well??? Seriously, I was already annoyrd at the show, but this was the braking point. NOT TO MENTION SUN afterwards??? The writers completely lost the plot. Changed the novel so much they basically erased the main character. Seriously, I'm actually annoyed. Especially since this show had extreme levels of potential and could've gotten more viewship if it wasn't like this. The second half especially. When will theu make a MilkLove gl again? Let alone adult themes?? Not to even mention ViewJune? Seriously, the only redeeming factor of this episode were the lovavle teachers, seriously Edit: re read it and I was so pisses I couldn't type properly lmao. It is very strange that Sun, who has been a green flag throughout the series, suddenly shows such a red flag behaviour, but I can understand it. Sun's family is very understanding and they raised their daughter freely. That's why I don't think Sun thinks too much about other family dynamics. Although she shows mature behaviour for her age, it is important to remember that she is actually an teenager. At this age, especially if a young person is in love, he/she places the relationship at the centre of his/her life. She even put aside her dreams for her girlfriend. She wants to see the same value from the other side. She wants Ongsa to be proud of her as she proudly shows her relationship to her own family. She was already tense because of their interrupted conversation in front of the door. I think she fears that Ongsa could easily give up on her, as if Ongsa would not miss her as much as she would miss her if they were far away. So I understand that Sun felt ignored by her girlfriend at the table, but I never, ever approve of her behaviour. I don't know how the scriptwriter will handle the script, but I think Sun should also apologise here. I hope this issue will not be ignored among Ongsa's efforts to redeem herself.

Hi! I don't usually reply, but I would like to share a comment on yours :) I don't think Sun "has been a green flag throughout the series": earlier on (ep. 6, 2/4) she said "You want me to get mad? When I'm mad, I can be quite frightening", which was completely off with her positive character up to that point. That moment felt weird, as if it was not really linked to the character, a mistake in the screenplay or something acted too much seriously... but it was actually a tiny hint at her having some red flag / controlling behaviours... Probably this "Sun" is not totally bright as we think at a first glance... ;)

For that reason I wrote that (at least for me) it was off with her character up to that point of the story. Ongsa or Sun, actually no one deserves the hate. Guys, they are humans after all and they don't even 18 yet, they are in high school. Ones is insecure because she scared that her parents won't accept her and ones is mad because her gf hide their relationship. They have their own reasons to do so. As outsiders, we can't judge them. I love that Aylin finally decided to open up to her "friends". She considered them her friends - realizing it when Khum Bambam and Nida talked to her in the rooftop. But i didn't like how everybody tried to cut her off as she speaks. 🥺 it was suppose to be the time when she will be opening herself up to them. Stop saying neither of them talked about it. It was Ongsa responsibility if she didn't want to tell her parents to let sun know. It doesn't matter that the didn't know a dinner was going to come from ongsa parents. She should have had some aware of it. She literally went into that dinner wanting to gloat about her amazing girlfriend and instead got denied not once but twice. As a closeted person myself I would never not tell my partner that my parents can't know about us. That is the most irresponsible thing you can do. Not only because it leads to getting caught. But it forces my partner into something they didn't choose. So yes as a person that's been in many closeted relationships I will defend sun. Because if I did what ongsa did I know the reaction of that choice so how can I blame the person who I put in that situation unknowingly. That's my fault not theirs. It's pretty simple. I put myself in the situation to be "outed".

i don't really comment whenever i watch any series, but i feel like i needed to. because girl???? idk, the worst thing you could do is out your girl to her parents. like, you literally have no rights to out anyone. i get that she's upset because ongsa deadass denied her, but she could've wait until that goddamn dinner was done, and ask her what's wrong, or why did she deny their relationship in front of ongsa's parents. i remember this scene in one of kirsten stewart's movie (forgot the title, but it was the one where aubrey plaza was in) where her girlfriend is also afraid of coming out. her friend asked her how was it when she cam out, and she said her parents were very welcoming, and accepted her. then her friend said (non-verbatim) "not everyone had the same parents as you." ongsa isn't sure how her parents would react, and according to novel readers her mom's homophobic, idk in the series version, because she seems excited about aylin and luna, but the bottomline is, not everyone has the same supportive parents as sun, and that you don't have the rights to out someone. because wdym girlie outed not just her girlfriend, but aylin and luna, too? though, i do believe that in the next episode sun would realize what the problem was, and ongsa could explain why she's scared of coming out.

She didn't even tell sun she wasn't out to her parents. That is something a partner needs to know for situations like this. I know first hand the first conversation you have with your possible partner is if they can handle being in a closeted relationship. I'm one of those comments against what Sun did. Yes, she feels disappointed that her girlfriend hides their relationship from her parents, but please we are talking about parents here. Even taking out the factor of homosexually, many people aren't comfortable to talk to their parents about their relationship for different reasons. Sun apparently has a different dynamic with her parents and she assumes that it's the same for Ongsa. I understand on some degree if she's ignorant about the parent situation, but since Ongsa was hesitant to reveal the truth she could have at least waited to finish dinner and ask her directly. To me that kind of behaviour seems so insensitive and childish even for their age..😌

to start - i mean, this is the fourth time someone has been conversationally outed on this show that it just seems like they think "everyone is so accepting, why are we overthinking this?" because, earlier in ep4, charoen outed ongsa to tinh then instantly outed tinh to ongsa; in ep6, aylin outed ongsa (and technically sun) to luna; and in ep7, all of them essentially outed ongsa and sun to ton & mawin. though, i do view sun outing aylin and luna just now as accidental because the look of surprise on her face made it seem like she assumed they already knew the two were together since they mentioned them having dinner at luna's. because sun is wrong in what she did, full stop, no ifs ands or buts. but she's still valid in her feelings. i think the only reason it seems everyone is more critical on sun doing it is because she did it in a moment of frustration and emotions whereas everyone else who did it was written off as "we're HELPING ongsa and sun get together, it's okay!" and we see someone being mad while doing something somehow worse than when someone else does the exact same thing but with "good intentions". because, up until this point, sun has pretty much been the anchor holding this relationship up emotionally and mentally. every single time ongsa spiraled or self-sabotaged or something happened that put them on the rocks, sun immediately built her back up or centered them again. like, she pretty much instantly forgave her for lying/catfishing her for weeks if not months, always compliments and reassures her when ongsa refuses to talk to her, and even when everyone was doing the most to make her jealous she never made it ongsa's problem and just buried it to keep being nice to her. like, since she's recognized and accepted her feelings for ongsa (and honestly, even beforehand), sun has been 100% full steam ahead and no brakes for them to be together and to STAY together no matter what. so it makes sense that after holding all that up for ages, she loses her cool. seeing how well her own family/their friends took to her dating ongsa, to deciding to give up her dream for the girl she literally went through hell and back with and professed her love to, then being told "no i want you to go anyway, don't tie our relationship to this" and immediately being denied twice to her face after it seemed like ongsa's parents were open to the idea, it all just kind of bubbled over for her and she tunnel-visioned on that moment and couldn't read the social cues anymore. like, you can see on her face the moment everything else faded away and she only could focus on what ongsa just said. again, she's 100% WRONG for doing it, no doubt about that because that should be done on ongsa's time and readiness, but it's understandable for a teen who is always praised for being so calm cool and collected to finally lose it when everything that was stacked up fell on her. it's pretty well established that unless someone forces her to talk or sun brings it up first, ongsa won't start the tough conversations they need to have, and i doubt sun would have done it the way she did if they had a conversation earlier where ongsa was like "hey, i haven't talked to my parents about this yet". they both focused on the exchange program secret, but i think the perfect time to talk about telling ongsa's parents would have been either right after the dinner with sun's parents after the "you're okay with your daughter dating a girl?" comment or after alpha straight up told her that she couldn't hide it forever. because sure, we've seen that sun is very understanding of not wanting to tell people before, but i don't think sun ever thought that meant not telling their parents since sun outright told her own and they're constantly going over to each others houses and even staying the night. still, i think because ongsa just denied it so passionately, not even a "i might be dating someone" or "i have someone i like" or "i don't want to talk about it", on top of the insecurity of ongsa maybe throwing their relationship away so easily in her mind, and them not even properly finishing that conversation before they were interrupted? sun just blew up. and i don't think it's really out of her character, either. because yes, sun is nice. she will help whoever she can just like it was shown in this episode with how she interacted with aylin; or in previous episodes like helping ongsa with basketball and telling the seniors about aylin's bullying. but also, we've been told, by sun herself, that when she's mad, she can be frightening. we've been shown that she's not a fan of outright lies or secrets (because really, her own secret was only kept for at most about two, maybe three, days before she told ongsa and it was mainly just her thinking about how to tell her/make the decision to ask her to come with then subsequently give it up). we notice that when she sees ongsa getting bullied by the basketball player, she's ready to step in because she's mad about it. she was ready to punch ton in the face for flirting with her crush. when she found out about ongsa being earth, she was pissed and just wanted explanations instead of apologies. even in episode 1, she was about to fight the people who had that video of them humiliating ongsa and she was "going to deal with them" but alpha/luna and teacher nida got to them first. the only reason it seems out of character to most is because sun has been put on this pedestal of pretty popular girl who is always nice and forgiving and no one has a bad thing to say about her. it's more the failure of bad scripting to never properly give us a sun POV outside of her relation to other characters, but i honestly think it's in-line with who she is: a nice and forgiving girl who also will not put up with herself (or others) being disrespected in any way. like, i'm sure you could sneeze at sun funny and she'd tell you off after saying bless you. also i'm just pretty sure ongsa (and by extension, the show itself) will be less mad about this because she'll probably be all "well, i did lie to sun about my identity for so long even though i had multiple chances to tell her the truth and everyone else BUT her knew and actively hid it from her and even made plans to make her find out instead of just telling her. oh, and i never did actually tell that truth until she was forced to find out by herself and i was backed into a corner and she was still forced to be the one to make me talk about it. not to mention she fell in love with that lie, but still forgave me, so." but also, i do hope it's talked about in some capacity? even just a "i wish you told me you didn't want your parents to know, i'm sorry" line would be good and them acknowledging a conversation should have been had about the ins and outs of their relationship because they're 16 and it's ongsa's (and maybe sun's, who knows) first proper relationship, so they're still figuring it out. but i wouldn't put it past gmmtv to not have that because i don't think they've ever viewed outing that way (again, as shown in earlier episodes of this show itself because no one else apologized for doing it).

@@yunjin1stfan aylin doing it was the second time someone outed, because chareon did it a few episodes earlier. and, like i said, alpha and luna then did it a couple episodes later. but most people, as shown in the comments, are hyper focused on sun and more angry at her than they were at the four other characters who did it, because they were “nice” and “helping”, and no one barely mentions that they did it too - that’s the point i’m making with that. and i never said sun was right in doing it, she’s very wrong for doing it when ongsa wasn’t ready or willing. all i said was it was understandable WHY it happened the way it did. she tunnel-visioned and hard focused on that after everything else that has piled up on her. and if we really want to split hairs on it, up until that dinner, ongsa has never shown that fear of being exposed to specifically her parents to sun yet. she’s only ever expressed not wanting people at school to know, because she mentioned it to their friends (and sun’s friends, which is why she later talked about it with ongsa cause it’s safe to assume they mentioned it to sun). all i said was that this would have and could have been avoided if ongsa ever outright said to sun “i do not want my parents to know” but she never did, even after they had dinner with sun’s parents. it makes sense why sun would think ongsa had mentioned it to her parents after she had been going there since they started dating and after they just got overtly accepted by her parents. so again. her actions? wrong. her feelings? valid.

No she figured she was being invited as her girlfriend because that's what she is. And because Ongsa hasn't told her that her parents didn't know. Again there relationship wasn't secret so why would she have to go in to this situation cautious of what to say and not say. It's just silly how people aren't seeing that. She wasn't wrong because she was going to the invite as her girlfriend not some secret girlfriend but her girlfriend. Ongsa was the one that had to let sun know an ongsa blind sided her.

I think the big factor here is they're still in that age/phase wherein they don't truly think of the consequences of whatever actions they do. We're all forgetting that they're still in adolescent age. I like how I understand why Ongsa did what she did and why Sun did what she did. I just wish this show existed when I was in high school, it would've helped a lot when I didn't know any better and nowhere to look to for guidance or even the right kind of advice. So, to all the youngins watching this show. Watch carefully and learn, you are lucky to have this kind of enlightenment without having to experiment and make every mistake. Now you will have knowledge and have a more educated mindset in making decisions in this aspect of life. You will still make mistakes, yes, but they will be the kind that are worth it.
