Oh interesting he actually tried to ask her on a proper date and want to date her properly. The plot doesn’t just tie them together with the kids. ML actually showed his interest properly even before knowing whose the kids parents are. Cute. He lost a lot of points when he forcefully take the kids away from her and refuse to talk rationally with her and just went berserk like a child. He escalated things himself and get mad when she fights back, forcing the situation to the point where the children have to suffer for his childish and arrogance…it felt like a step back form his character growth before and he’s still the same arrogant snd self righteous man that caused his own son to have autism bc he assumed he knows what’s happening. I’m a little annoyed that they didn’t force him to properly apologize for acting out that way and instead using more childish behavior to get her back. That whole sequence at the end would be cute if it comes after he apologize to her for acting out and hurting everyone involved. Then it csn follow by him following her around to get back together. I don’t get these Chinese drama. It’s kike they think it’s beneath these “CEOs” to admit fault and have to use ridiculous ways to resolve things. In there a no apology rule carved into these writers brain? This is actually a really good version of this plot with lots of development for the couple. I don’t even mind that they have him blow up over the divorce and force the kid to choose. It’s a shitty thing he did but its interesting conflict snd could have been a great marker to test his character for more growth at the end, but it disappointed me that it ended up as another caveman response instead of real nice button up of a decent drama. The ending brought it from an 8 to 6/10
