I understand why this drama is aptly named. Lin yiyang has to go through a lot of storms to get back what was lost. But he is surrounded by those who miss and still love and care for him. Lin has made mistakes, but he has gone through a lot as a child that shaped his then personality. I do not know yet whappened in his youth, but his true self has come forth despite all of the trauma he has dealt with in the past. His expressions and the love that he craves from Guo speak volumes. Lin Yiyang has a lot of pain inside of 6 he realizes that he needs the love from others from his past, but more so the romantic caring love from Guo.😢❤😢

From what I've seen in movies, Chinese culture can be very unforgiving. Why would an adult hold a grudge against someone for something they did as a child, over 12 years ago? It says more about the adult judging than the child who made the mistake. 13 years later, that child has paid the price and is struggling to recover from the consequences and a self-imposed exile. But adults who weren't even directly involved are throwing fits. Such a lack of graciousness. Very unfair and quite irritating.

I think it was just a misunderstanding. Yiyang didn't like his gf sitting together and eating with the boy who pursuing her. That's mainly his reason of not replying her messages. And Yin Guo misunderstood that it was because of her mom and asking him everything is alright. But Yiyang didn't answer properly to her and kind of acting like he was mad at her. And then Yin Guo said nasty things to him like "I am not looking for you". He got mad. Then replied, "Then go back, I need to leave soon"😂 Bluh bluh bluh and everything got messy between them. I just explained cause I think it is kind of realistic. Those kinds of misunderstanding usually happened in relationships out there so.
