Yes, she did/she died because of her evil heart. Wu Huan is the only one that looked down on her status. The gods/goddesses in the god realm didn't look down on her. She had issues with her clan but other than that she was the only one that viewed her low birth status as a problem. She was so convinced that everyone was judging her...she was paranoid. She didn't want to believe Bai Jue when he told her that Shanggu wasn't going to replace her because it means that all of her crimes...she did for nothing. She was evil just like the snow goddess. They both tried to destroy Shanggu for selfish reasons. Gu Jun was the best decision that Shanggu made/Wu Huan was the worst.

Xu Kai & Zhou Dongyu are such amazing actors they really separated their characters Bai Jue and Qing Mu & Shang Gu and Hou Chi. It was completely different persons, also credit to the costume producers n team whom also helped with distinguishing between the characters like the all black for Bai Jue which help place emphasis on how cold hearted n ruthless he is n then Qing Mu with his bright colors just giving off uk life or sum. Cause when they change Bai Jue clothing in that fighting scene I was like “there u r now I recognize u mawn”🤣🤣

Whatever it is the emperor is about to do (most likely "sacrifice" himself), I am wholly unimpressed. He was just finished begging for Wu Huan's life even though she was more than likely about to through all the realms into chaos and now whatever he's about to do is going to be his big "I'm sorry!" in which he doesn't have to hang around to clean up the mess or be embarrassed by his mistakes.🙄

The battle between wuhuan and the true gods is similar to the battle when the true gods fought against the former devil god. I think they used that formation cause they don't want to kill her, but to capture her so her crimes can be reveal in front of all immortals to absolve tianqi of his crime of killing goddess yuemi so wuhuan can be punish accordingly. The emotions xukai shows in this ep is so real, really love how he play both baijue/qingmu 😍. Shanggu words really hurt him, when she said she will not love or hate him, she is a so tough i love how strong she is even when she loss most of her memory 👍

Also in my opinion wuhuan wasn't strong as the last devil god, so if they want to kill her it would be easy for them, her power came from killing immortals and absorb their power; they want her to stand trial for her crimes as well as revealing who truly kill goddess yuemi.

My favorite part of the battle is when Bai Jue released Quigmu. I really missed him. He was the best version of Bai Jue. Wu Huan overestimated herself. She was counting on beating Shanggu because she thought she killed Bai Jue/Tianqi. She has to wake up early in the morning to fool Bai Jue...lol She was bragging about turning the true gods against each other. She gave herself too much credit. If Bai Jue believed her lie about Yuemi he would've killed Tianqi but he spared his life because he didn't believe in his heart that Tianqi would kill her. The only reason Bai Jue fought with Tianqi was to prevent him from revealing that Houchi was in fact Shanggu. He was trying to keep her safe from Wu Huan. He knew that Wu Huan wouldn't hesitate to kill Shanggu before her resurrection. She played Muguang/the other immortals...I give her credit for that...but Muguang was blinded by his love for her so it was easy to manipulate him. He was also an idiot...lol I mean the truth was staring him right in the face/he chose to ignore it. He even prevented his son from implicating her. Their entire family at some point covered for her. I really hope they punish her daughter because she tried to poison Bai Jue. She isn't innocent/she should pay for her crimes too. I was so happy that Shanggu told him that she wouldn't love him or hate him...he deserve to feel pain for all the crap he's done even...even if he did it to save her life. He watched as Wu Huan nearly killed her. He watched as Wu Huan cut her spiritual vein. He watched as Tianqi/Gu Jun tried to save her life. Everything he did would've been in vain if Gu Jun hadn't sacrificed himself to save her. I relished in his pain....yes I'm petty...lol

I replayed many times the scene where Quingmu is there and looks longingly at Houchi/Shangu. It’s heartbreaking and I swear I can feel how Quingmu is feeling. Then, you look over at Baijue and he’s looking like “ohhhh NO you don’t look at each other! I gotta grab you back now!” Dang he’s a fantastic actor. Love the female lead. I love her looks since she’s NOT an exact duplicate like other Chinese actresses. She actually is petite and not buxom. Her face has typical Asian features....nothing European as many Asian actresses do. Her acting is good, but her face is not as expressive as XuKai’s.

xu kai is my favorite celebrity of all time, but I'm just gonna be honest and say his acting in other shows hasn't impressed me. but from this show, he's proven that he's an amazing actor; he's made me cry like a billion times and the way he's been able to portray both qingmu and bai jue SO WELL and distinguish between them is incredible

@@Juliana-tk5yf never watched arsenal military academy, but he seems good in that. did watch yanxi palace - mediocre acting tbh, didn't really express anything the entire show (yes, I understand it's part of his character but there was nothing to really be truly impressed about). dongyu is a veteran actor, it was expected she would outshine him, but she outshined him less than I expected which shows that his acting was great
