I was hesitating to post this comment or not because obviously, the majority of the drama watchers might feel the same but I just want to record my thoughts at this moment. I'm feeling so complicated watching this episode, or seeing the main couple in general, I want to say I wouldn't keep something as serious as ALS from my other half. We should enjoy our last moments together and cherish every bit of time we have instead of heartbreak and fighting, but I've never gotten a disease as severe as that so I wouldn't know how I'd react, so I can never be in ML's shoes. But if I were in FL's place I would rather my other half tell me their state and I would feel better being by their side until the last moments than to be kept in the dark confused, frustrated, and upset. I even have an example irl and this is in no way saying the situation is the same, but this reminds me of my grandpa. He approached his cancer the same way as ML and started to distance himself from me. During my last time visiting him, he just felt so cold and distant, when my second last time seeing him we played poker and had so much fun. I only knew he had cancer after he passed away and I really wished he would've told me so even if I wasn't by his side until the very last moment, our last memories of spending time together would be happy moments. 5 years had passed since he left but I would still get incredibly sad and regretful whenever I think of him. I really had a strong bond with him.
