Pisaeng pleading his mom to accept him and his love is genuinely one of the more heartfelt scenes in recent years 😭 I know us fans keep saying great things about everyone and everything but Gawin really deserves so much recognition for precisely that performance 👏🏻 top notch, believable emotion.

Gawin is getting better and better in his acting career👏🏻 The way his tears falling slowly made the scene even perfect. Glad Pisaeng and his mom cleared everything in this episode. The actor playing pisaeng is phenomenal!!! In fact this series did a good job with their cast. All the actors came through in delivering!! I'm liking the conflict in this ep so far. It's between a mother who knows how ruthless the country could be towards her son whom she wants to protect and a son who just wants her to support him. They're on the same side but they have different concerns/POVs hence their reactions, wc kind of feels like a breath of fresh air.

I liked Pisaeng's scene with his mom, and I understand the concern and love they have for their own children, and I think it's very important to let the child live his life, based on the choices he makes, father or a mother must be there to be a friend and support, someone to talk to and ask for advice, no mold your child's life around your own choices. And Pisaeng's mom understood that, and I think every parent should take this as an example.

All I want for now is my Pear should have a happy ending otherwise I am throwing hands. Wow, Gawin's acting is top tier. His tears seems so natural...he has turned to an amazing actor. Kawi's dad: Please be happy for me, that will make me happier. Pisaeng's mom: Whoever makes you happy, makes me happy too. THE WORLD NEEDS SUCH PARENTS! Just imagine the magnitude of Kawi's love for Pisaeng to plead with Pisaeng's mom for acceptance without any hesitation. He didn't know he was pranked nor he knew the situation but still chose to clear the problem by coming out of his comfort zone. His character growth is just amazing.

All of the parent-child relationships getting resolved this episode and showing both sides' perspectives/concerns! It would be easy to call Pisaeng's mother a homophobe but the show makes it clear that it's the fear and concern for her child's future that misleads her to be that way. The amount of silence and distance between them when Pisaeng asked her why she has to expect the worst/can't be hopeful, spoke volumes about his mother. That Pisaeng started tearing up during that long silence hit me right in my own queer heart - I had a moment of realization that the unspoken here? Is that his mom thinks him not being with a guy IS the best. Gosh, the anguish... It's that moment of his utter hurt and vulnerability when it must've hit her that she is actively causing her son the pain, sorrow, distress, misery that she wants to shield him from. I have a lot of feelings about this show highlighting the importance of empathy and kindness and the complexity of human emotions and relationships. Kudos to the scriptwriters, kudos to P'Waa, and kudos to all the actors for such sincere character portrayals as well as acting against/off of each other so well, especially in emotional scenes!
