Jimin looked so tense during this, but all the uneasyness seemed to pass after blood, sweat & tears. That era was so hard for him, and it must've been so difficult for him to watch, but our baby is strong! The way his expression fell was saddening, and it broke my heart a bit, but what matters now is that he is thriving better than ever, and I know it will stay like that❤️

@@7evilartz981 it was a transition time for him imo. He was reflecting too much on himself, he felt very insecure about his vocals, his weight and generally figuring himself out at that time. It was stressful time for him so he was very reserved and emotional than usual.

@@7evilartz981 That era was very difficult for him because he began recieving hate for his so called "chubby weight/cheeks" and so it put him into an emotional ride of insecurity etc which is why he went on this big diet, no eating for days straight, and he lost a ton of weight (I think it was 7kg) Not only did he lose weight but he became weaker, as around this time he had gotten ill in an airport and had to be taken to the hospital. He stated multiple times that he hates his past self, but it wasn't his fault... What matters is that he's okay now ❤️

kaki k I wouldn’t call it so much as a dark past and more of a severe confidence problem. He had severely low confidence in his body, his singing and his overall abilities as a performer. He was the member who was most hard on himself (although everyone is already too) and that’s why he seeks praise constantly even now although it was more evident in the early years of debut.

@@kakik6519 Basically went through a depression and self esteem phrase where he lost love in himself and wanted to be someone else! He was being threatened, insulted and just going through a lot of shit at the time which no person could handle. He began losing weight in extreme ways which often caused him to pass out and suffer. His doing way better now and we shouldn't worry the past when we have the future :) I'm proud to see him grow and now love himself 💙

I think beside their first music show win and their first stadium citified concert, all the times he cried has happened in 2016. I just remember he kept putting himself down in late 2015 during Run era, then Fire happened. He made that video in his hotel reflecting on himself and talking about wanting to become a better singer. They held a concert that summer and he cried there. By the time BST happened in Fall 2016, he became very reserved, quiet and got emotional in one of their music show wins. They won album of the year, and he later shared in their Vlive just right after the award show that he didn't know what was happening and he cried for no particular reason. A whole year after in 2017, during DNA era he said along the lines of, he used to be very hard on himself and would be stressed out but now, he is more chill and happier. I guess he was just stressed and I think at that point, the honeymoon phase of being a celebrity has worn off, and 3rd year seem to be the common transitional phase for a lot of idols.
