Yeah her mom sees her as an accessory more than a person with her individuality. Her mother thinks she has to be what she wants. Honestly aside from the the conservative collectivist culture argument,her mom clearly is a narcissistic parent. She thinks the reason is because she wants her child to have another doctor who will understand the challenges while running the hospital but what i am seeing is that she wants her kid to be perfect according to her standards and live the way ah wants. You can see that the father doesn't have the same mindset,he wants her to take over the business but he knows that forcing her and not accepting who his daughter is,she won't be able to run the business effectively if she is unhappily shoved into a marriage that she doesn't want. Don't get me wrong, marriages don't have to solely be for love but forced marriages of convenience dont work. If Lada was willing to have a marriage of convenience then she would have already done it but she clearly doesn't. She has been the perfect daughter on all standards and yet she gets rewarded by her narc mother how? By forcing her into an union while she already explicitly showed that she was in love with someone else and didn't want to compromise. That's sad. The only thing her daughter is that she doesn't like and she becomes her own daughter's biggest villain. It's not even that she is well intentioned doing something bad,she outright wants to control her daughter like a puppet. A lot of people have children for the wrong reasons,they think they are extensions of them and if they don't act how the parent would have acted(duh they are an individual) then they get checked. That's so saddening.

Lada asked orm after encountered with her mom ..orm said she's afraid will her mom accept this love and lada confirmed it by saying she loves me so she loves you too so maybe lada thought orm is afraid of her mom whenever she brings up her mom ( just my pov )sry if my eng is bad

​@@Swathyharikrishnan165 yes I recall that conversation, it happened last episode as they got off the escalator. Erarn didn't really look all that stressed, just a little preoccupied. Yet Dr. Lada picked right up on it. And reassured Earn things would be alright. In the next episode as they walked to the car. Dr. Lada tells Earn she'll invite her mother if she free to join them. So they can get to know each other better. Earn's usual smile goes to a blank stare. Dr. Lada is staring at Earn the whole time just smiling. I'm thinking to myself. How can you not notice your girlfriend is in distress. The change in expression was not subtle, it was immediate. I'm just saying if it were me. I would would of hugged my girlfriend and reassured her things with mom were going to be alright. Btw your English is fine, no worries.😊
