I like the way SZ gives Meng few pieces of her mind. She knows Meng gets jealous of the relationship between JS and her. Too bad, finally she follows him back to Shanghai!

Firstly, Shi Zhen's aunt should have told her that the former was kidnapped by Meng, from Jia Shang's men. Secondly, the aunt didn't have all the true facts about her sister's death; her info based more on hearsay. Thirdly, the way the aunt described her brother-in-law is completely different from Rong Ding Kun's characteristics. Fourthly, Shi Zhen should have recalled Ding Kun saying "He" the night Shao Qing escaped. With the latter 2, intelligent Shi Zhen should have concluded she is not related to Jia Shang.

Shi Zen for all her 'supposed" intelligence and feminism isn't the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. The fact she's still associating with the slime ball Meng says it all. She has yet to learn her lessons about REAL life and who's on her side and who's not and whom to trust and whom not to.

@@maggiechan33I totally agree with you. Meng is so cunning, malicious! Though Jia Shang is younger, doesn’t have his own company yet, but he is an upright person with good heart and caring. Ze Shen is very smart! Though she works for Meng so that she has the chance to revenge D K Ring, she could tell how selfish Meng is, so she didn’t fall in love with him 👍
