💬Plot summary:

I've always had the belief actions speak louder than words and I follow it. I show my affection to people by doing things for them. For example buying them their favourite ice cream. If it were me receiving love then I want to see it not hear it. A lot of people can say I love you and not mean it. I think a hug shows more affection than the words.

Many people say I love you and not mean it. A word is only word if it's not shown through actions. I've always believed actions speak louder than words and that's how I express my love to the people I care about. Growing up with one parent then losing them is bad enough and losing them on the day you expect to get a breakthrough is worse. This brought tears to my eyes. We don't depend on luck in this world but blessings - it is just a matter of time for each one of us to realize our blessings. Lu XienChein is such a smooth operator - he proposed to her on stage informs of everyone at a time when she was most happy - nice move Mr. LXC. I love the fact that he acknowledged his father's love for his mother - finally!! Very good drama - life has its huddles but if we wait, persevere and trust God - we will enjoy His blessings. Lu, Yan is such a gentleman.....Hmmmm He let's Tong go and embraces his brother on top accepting a challenge at the last minute - What a gentleman! As for Lu XienChien's voice - wow! Just wow! Thank you cast, producers, and all on set and of course the audience and those who invested in the drama.

Going to miss this couple and series. Their on screen chemistry was so good, irrespective of the various emotions they were going through. The storyline and script were good. No unnecessary jealousy or extreme hateful acts by those who hated Lu XingCheng and him knowing (in that weird kind of way) that his father loved him (even in the distance), was touching. Tong Xiao's love for him was not over bearing, spitful or rude and yes irrespective of the age difference there was so much maturity, trust and belief in their relationship. Perseverance and hard work beats luck anytime. I'd love to see them paried on another project, but wish them both, Shen Yue and Jerry Yan, well in the next adventure/s.

I will definitely miss the contagious chemistry of Jerry Yan and Shen Yue. This show is a beautiful teaser of portraying love between two people regardless of age difference. Hopefully, we will again witness the continuance of their amazing love story that was realistically acted by the main leads. Well I hope this is not the last comment on this drama but I just wanted to say a few things in case there is no season 2. This drama was more then I expected, it was more than prefect. It had bromance, brotherly love, friendships and love triangles. The bromance in this drama had me wishing I was a boy. The brotherly love made me realize that I take my brothers for granted. The friendships had me thinking twice about my friends, Ohh don’t get me started on the love triangles which made me crazy. And lastly the romance that made me feel the singlest out of all the singles. It put me in sleep debt (when you hardly sleep) And lastly it made me realize that age does not matter in love but the feelings do. And all I wish for is a season 2.

Great show! Amazing acting from everyone especially Jerry Yan. Good plots! Important lessons of love told in gentle vivid ways. If people understand these lessons of love, they probably will be ALOT happier. The age gap is not a problem. Jerry played a guy who is 35 year old. He sure looks much much younger than 42 year old. TSY is supposed to be 24 year old. So the couple has an age gap of 10-11 years. It is very believable!

I had to watch it again for clear view of what all was going on with the key actors and the supporting actors. The emotional maturity Former editor (Mr Lu #1) handling the cloak and dagger business as he trained her to get hold of her dream and stay focused. He never crossed the line except to redirect her. I am glad he finally told her how folks were struggling to keep her down and his representation in the fashion industry. The theme of Father. Was amazing to conquer those sons issues with their father. And Mr Lu #1 also had her dad to watch and learn from. The last three episodes were building up to the cleansing of the sinuses or stress relief and happy tears 😭 I finally got to see what everyone was saying. Which is to say, if it were a book it would be hard to put down.

This was such a great drama. I cried, got angry, laughed and smiled like crazy. This last episode I cried so much when they both explained what love meant to them and he got emotional and cried on stage. I am going to miss the cast. I'm happy he forgave his dad and his dad acknowledged him and he accepted his younger brother and his best friend.

Oct. 4, 2020 I just finished watching all 34 Episodes & I must say, they were all great! I enjoyed it so much that I looked forward to watching it. I watched this movie three days in a row & only stopped to eat, rest, sleep, & take care of first priority things that needed my attention. He's a great Actor & there's something about his voice that is so calm soothing & its as if he speaks in slow motion. Right? I do think so. Thanks to the Entire Crew & the English Translators. Without them this movie wouldn't be possible & for we who speak different languages, we needed this movie in English. Once again, THANK YOU! RS (San Diego, CA.)
