Every verse she seems to spin and reach longer and longer and in the end she asks what her former self would think if she saw her now. And she now sees the world differently. This song reminds me of personal breakthroughs, like when one learns to swim, ride a bicycle, speak a new language, fly etc...

It tells a story of a girl who used to love what she did the most, but she noticed other people were doing a lot better than she did.
