i watched the ending in total frustration..Season 1 was excellent and .interesting although i was trilled in the fightings in season 2 it should have been better if Arthur Chen remained as NQ. honestltv the ending is quiete Oh No! i hope to see the Season 3 with the originals and hoping thar Fuzi would return too.

No. According to the novel, Sang Sang has two forms. The mortal and heavenly form so they have to cast another actress for Sang Sang's heavenly form. Not because of the said complaint. Dylan Wang fans are so rude to have such complain and rant when in fact, Dylan was just a replacement for Arthur Chen. They should acknowledge that fact and be thankful that their idol got the role instead of insulting the original female lead. Besides, ever night 1 was successful with Song Yiren as Sang Sang. It's enough slap for them that not all beautiful actresses has the charmed like Song Yiren could offer.

@@LEYPEN Because in this part of the movie/drama, Haotian is slowly taking over Sangsang's body, which make Song Yiren as Sangsang later on become only a memory of the mortal world between her and Ning que, that's why Ning que can't see, hear, feel nor touch her. The moment she went up to the sky and left Ning que behind, the director Yangyang stated that originally Song Yiren will no longer have a screen exposure and no longer has a script because she already became "Haotian" which is now portrait by Yang chaoyue, now this means she will become Haotian at the same time Sangsang later on. But because she likes how Yiren portrait Sangsang and how she gave a big impact on the movie or drama, she later on change that idea and decided she will still be the one portraying Sangsang and not Yang Chaoyue untill the last episode. But her role there is no longer the human Sangsang but a memory or a human conscience that keeping Haotian here in the mortal word from leaving, and in the other hand is the memory that Haotian trying to erase so that she could already leave the mortal world and go back to the sky. So basically, there's no Song Yiren will be seen through out the movie, only the time Ning que erase her memories in every part that she loves to go in Tang city, and no more screen exposure. But because the director knew many fans will be disappointed if she will not cast Song Yiren anymore for the upcoming episodes, so she change her mind. And that my friend what happened and the reason why she looks like the second lead character in this season 😂🤣... But it's still worth it to watch, just try it you won't be disappointed. I'm planning to watch it again tho, if I have a time.

I am very disappointed with the ending of Ever Night season 2. Does it mean that NQ commit suicide (jump off the mountain) and SS follow suit? How sad! It seems Ireine Song plays as a bit player in season 2. How disappointing. Is there a season 3? Love SS. Feel sad about the ending. The song makes it 更淒涼。

First of all, he did use his flying sword, from ep 1 to protecting Sangsang in the temple. Did you even watch the movie? Like seriously? And lastly Ning que didn't become a pathetic one, how can he hurt Sangsang in the first place? Remember Haotian and Sangsang are the same, and Haotian is a goddess from heaven that only Ning que's master can equal her when it comes to fighting. Not defeat but equal, means she's much stronger and powerful than fuzi...
