I really hate when the story revolves around the main leads being married and then they still throw in unnecessary love interests, it is disgusting. Because what exactly makes the second male lead different from the annoying girls that want the male lead? Why would you think it is okay to actively go after a married woman or man, first Melody of golden age and now this. It feels like Cdrama now glorifies shamelessness and I hate it. Lige is no different from the Situ girl, and he gets away with it because he has white long hair and girls fantasize about shit like this. I even saw a comment talking about “picking Lige” when there is literally no competition whatsoever, she is MARRIED. Like they are married. There is no picking or anything, he is a friend and sometimes crosses the line with his assumptions about her marriage. What’s the difference between him and all the other female characters who ignore their marriage and still stick to the ML’s side? This is why I prefer “Are you the one”, better story and better logic imo.
